I was super happy to find an update to this story... and like some of the other readers suggested Sev needs to embrace fatherhood...
Author's Response: The fatherhood chapter is coming, but Severus is very much against it. As he's only a literary character I am immune to his curses (not that he hasn't tried), but I'm not immune to his bellowing. It will take a bit to convince him.

| thank you for the wonderful chapter, i liked how they were spending the day - with severus coming to realistation that he is married (like with the ring) until the very well written end!
all in all very romantic and cute and still believable.
i also hope for another chapter!

| It seemed like a long wait, but it was worth it. I don't know how you manage it, but you manage to make double entendres and what would be considered crude sexual terms in any other context seem like the most romantic words in the English language. From his toast to Minerva to the consummation at the end, this was a funny, frustrating, and ultimately very satisfying chapter and very worth the wait. |
