This was a fine little story, but I must admit to being mystified by this small paragraph: "Why had he not used them? The vials were perfect instruments in his line of work. "But even now, he dared not unstopper them. Again, a shadow of trepidation passed over his heart. Opening the vials, even empty, would unleash evils into the world." "Unleash evils into the world"?! Whatever did you mean? And if that were literally so, why then did Severus go on to do it? That doesn't seem to jibe with the actual end of the story.
Author's Response: I re-read the story and I see what you mean. Sometimes I just get caught up in words and they don't always go exactly with the text. I'll keep an eye on this in the future. Thanks for the feedback. Cheers! |

This was such a charming story. I loved your having the connection between Luna and her mother--the similarities that Snape recognized, and Lily Evans. Very nice.
Author's Response: Thank you. I like to think that Snape made other friendships than just Lily, if not it just seems so hopeless. I love the juxtaposition between Luna and Snape. It's fun to play with. Cheers! |

Couldn't leave without letting you know your writing touched my heart. One brief moment entirely in character has led to a lovely, gentle illumination of our Snape. This one grabbed my heart first, then made me think. For all the musing, thanks.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the lovely review. I like to think of Snape's kinder nature. Even though he kept it well guarded, it was still there. I find Luna is a great character to bring that out. Cheers! |

I remember that the first chapter surprised me greatly - in a very positive sense. I was curious how this might go on, and I'm not disappointed. I love your imagery and descriptions, and the gentle power of your storytelling. Keep up the good work! Cúthalion
Author's Response: *blushes* Thank you for the lovely compliment, especially about the 'imagery and descriptions.' I'll try my best to keep it up. Cheers! |

And very nice too, Potterverse. Very moody.
Author's Response: Thank you, Scaranda, glad you liked it. I'm quite a 'moody' person, so writing is a nice way of purging it without hurting those I love (that's a joke, kind of). I greatly appreciate your continued reviews. Cheers! |

Sol and Severus seem to have had something special, something full of hope. I'm glad you decided to give us another chapter. Say, will there be more?
Author's Response: I'm not sure if I'll write more, but it's not out of the question. I'm glad you've enjoyed this story and would like it to continue. I'll have to ponder the possibilities. Cheers! |

Now this was a little gem. The Ravenclaw password was extremely clever, and the tag line about children of ghosts was priceless. Excellent.
Author's Response: Oh, cool. You got the password thing. Only one other person has metioned it. I'm glad you caught my inside joke. I am also pleased you liked the last line. I think I thought that up the last line first and wrote the story around it. I am in the process of getting another chapter to this story posted soon. It's called Severus and Sol. Thanks again. Cheers! |

And the second one I discover tonight! She's an eerie, little creature, isn't she? Beautiful!
Author's Response: Thanks. I'm glad you discovered these stories. I plan on writing more. Luna is quite unusual and unique. She's a fun character to delve into. Cheers! |

Love your work! Snape and Luna interactions are one of my favourites. They are both such complex and vastly different creatures. I take great pleasure in Snape's bewilderment over Luna - have added you to favourite authors.
Author's Response: Wow! Thanks a lot. I'm honored to be one of your favorite authors. I agree with Snape's bewilderment over Luna, it's fun to read and fun to write. Cheers! |
