| I always get nervous when chapters end with the word "always". That's never a good sign. I love the way you manage to make Severus and Lily's lives "non-magical" by bringing problems into them which we readers can relate to: siblings, family, illness. Very well done, indeed. | I liked the emphasis on family in this chapter - Snape and Tobias forging some tentative bonds, being willing for Tobias to meet Lily, the Evans' acceptance of Severus and the news of the engagement, even Petunia being a pill (still a typical family moment!) I admit to being curious as to how Voldemort will be defeated in your story, without a Harry Potter in existence - I look forward to finding out (if you are planning on continuing the story to that point!)
