Wow--what a panoply of emotions, in all the characters! You have left us so much to think about, I don't even have words to describe it. On to the next terrific chapter!

Author's Response: Thank you. I know I am a very detailed author, when writing of feelings and emotions. Perhaps exaggerated. But, as you noticed, there are so many considerations we can make, so many unexplored possibilities, that it was impossible for me to renounce their dissection.

You sure know how to give us readers more questions than answers. Please, do go on.

Author's Response: I think that this is the best compliment you could do to me. Thanks! Only two chapters missing. I hope you'll like them too.

So, Hermione is channeling Dumbledore. Dumbledore and Voldemort must now be dueling for possession of Snape's soul. The problem for me is that I don't know how good Dumbledore is. Is he still trying to manipulate Snape from his grave? It's still almost a year before the final battle and Dumbledore fully believed that Harry had to die along with Voldemort for the prophecy to be fulfilled. Is the protection he and Fawkes gave Snape just part of his plan to fulfill that prophecy?

Author's Response: Thank you for your comment. This story has been written in 2006, when DH was just "a spark in Rowling's mind" (as we say in Italy). So, please forget what you have read about Dumbledore in book 7. You will find an answer to your question in the next chapters (only two missing to complete the story...). I hope you will like it.
