You have maintained the style and the atmosphere well. Your Voldemort is much more chilling and frightening that Rowling's is.
Author's Response: Thank you! I believe in "cunning" villains... they give writers (and readers) much more satisfaction. ;) |

A very good beginning, you have done very well in recreating Edgar Allan Poe's style and atmosphere.
Author's Response: Hi Trickie Woo! You are another one of those to whom my stories is dedicated. I have seen your name in so many reviews and we have read so many stories together! So, thank you very much for your comment. I'm honoured to be compared to the Great E.A. Poe, (who is one of my favorite writers). Again thanks and forgive my poor English. My answers are not betaed... |

This is scary stuff. Your Voldemort gives me the creeps. (btw, I am on the north side, Sweden)
Author's Response: Wow! It must be cold up there! Thank you for your comment. This is exactly the reaction I hoped to raise. I like dark, intelligent villains, and I wanted to try to describe one. Hope to hear from you again. Buona notte e buona lettura! (Good night and good reading!) |

This is a very promising beginning, I think. I will continue with chapter two tomorrow morning. It would be a shame to go on reading now, in a half awaken state of mind. (Being on the same continent as you, I know it's way past bedtime now ;-))
Buena notte.
Author's Response: Sorry, I just found your review today... Thank you for leaving me a message. Another night owl, I see... And from which part of the continent, if I may ask? I hope to hear again from you and, above all, I hope you have not been disappointed with the following chapters. |
