So actually I finished it reading in one time, with the story being so faschinating, amazingly captivating and nevertheless so sad. It really was amazing, I love your writing-style. Thanks for sharing!!!

Author's Response: And thank YOU for reading. There's a sequel, if you're interested. It's called Always By Your Side.

Finally he has found a worthy person, unlike JKR puts it. Love the story up to now, had to read it in one go. He really deserves a honest, caring soul. Canīt wait to read the rest of the story.Absolutely great!

Author's Response: I am so glad you're enjoying this. This story is my baby, so to speak, and very close to my heart.

I'm sobbing like a baby, and my husband keeps looking over in my direction like I must be crazy. I don't care, this was a wonderful story. I have to admit I'm a little worried about who Morgaine's father is, cause when you say she has an aptitude for for the Dark Arts and Legimancy I can only think of one person, and then that takes me down this whole disturbing incestuous road. Please say it isn't so!

Author's Response: Na, don't cry. *hands over a handkerchief* But I am glad that I managed to convey the emotions I was feeling when writing the story. And So I thank you for your tears. As for Morgaine's father, I'd like to keep this a secret for the moment. I might just use it one day. Thank you very much for reading and leaving such a wonderful review. /

I started crying. It was like I read the book again. I didn't like reading this chapter at all. But I love this story. It's just so sad.

Author's Response: This chapter was hard to write as well. It's difficult to pay attention to grammar and spelling, and at the same time try to sob silently so the boyfriend won't wake up. I am very glad that you liked the story and want to thank you for reading it. /M

I dreaded reading this, I knew it would be terribly sad and I don't like unhappy endings. I adore Severus and I've become too fond of Morgaine to accept that he died and she lost the love of her life and will mourn him the rest of her life. I'd still like to see you write an alternate version or maybe just new first and last chapters and possibly an epilogue. You said Severus and Morgaine may resurface again; like Sharpe and Harper always do, I hope it's alive, and healthy. I wondered about the same things star_girl asked. Obviously, her father is dead now so I hope her mother will reappear and clear up some of the mystery.

Author's Response: Dear Trickie, tust me, it was hard for me to destroy such a beautiful relationship, and I actually regretted having to kill Severus. But, I had decided that in the beginning and stuck to it. It fitted my mood back then. But who knows, maybe I will write an alternative ending. And you gave me an idea there with Morgaine's mother reappearing. Where's my notebook? /M

Wow, this chapter made me well up so badly! Poor Severus, and poor Morgaine. I still have questions about Morgaine's background though. Which Death Eater was her father? Did Snape have to punish her mother? So many questions! Well done for completing it, it was a joy to read and well structured. Looking forward to reading more.

Author's Response: So many questions, so little answers ... Which DE was Morgaine's father? I'd like to leave this question unanswered for now. But let us consider what she has inherited: an aptitude for the Dark Arts and Legilimency skills. Now, who was good at those things? Her mother disappeared after she had left Morgaine on Iceland. Not even Dumbledore knew where she went. Ah, so many secrets ... I am very glad that you enjoyed the story and want to thank you for reading it. I have two WIPs at the moment. Keep your eyes open, Severus and Morgaine might just resurface one day. /M

I'm pleased that she realized what Dumbledore had been trying to convey to her and that she realizes she trusts him. Rowling has tried to portray him strictly in black and white, as though the only reason he turned to Dumbledore's side was his love for Lily. Her ego is full of crap, fortunately her id knew all the shades of gray that were within him and his fans and the fan fic writers who write stories about him picked up on her id, rather than her ego. Everybody else on that side was allowed to have character faults, but not Severus. After she killed him off in the most ridiculous way possiblre she didn't even to bother to account for his body. I'd love to see you write an alternative version of this story with him surviving and a happy ending for him and Morgaine. Real life holds too much pain and unhappiness not to hope for a happy ending and to see the bad guys die or suffer collateral damage as part of their just deserts.

Author's Response: Oh Trickie, you make me wish that I'd never wrote about Severus' death in the first paragraph. Now I have to kill him *sobs*. Thank you very much for reading and taking the time to leave a note, and everything else of course. Cheers. /M

I like the bit where you mention Morgaine having traits of both Slytherin and Gryffindor. I think JKR tried to show with Snape & James Potter that both light & dark exist in everyone, but it's the choices we make that confirm what we are.

Author's Response: Exactly my point. Thank you very much for reading and taking the time to comment. Cheers. /M
