Reviews for Interviews

really nicely done! How terrific to have a little glimpse into the beginnings of that most interesting relationship.

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. A most interesting relationship, yes, and one we can argue about--even internally. I have a sneaking suspicion I'm channeling Albus as Severus wished him to be, not as he was, in the second interview....

this was a wonderful imagining of these two scenes. i think you captured snape and dumbledore both very well. great job!

Author's Response: Thanks for the review and the compliment--I worked hard on the tone and characters.

Very well written. I have noticed that there are a few folks writing "gap" stories that fill in those areas that cannon did not let us see. Now that we know all of what cannon will give us there have been some wonderful muses out there filling the minds of brilliant writers like yourself with stories that feel credible and let us see "what might have taken place when..." I liked how you drew Dumbledores character. He was so himself (very cannon like) and acted kind, all knowing, and careful of Severus. He could read him very well. As for Severus, you painted him well too. He was such a prat to Tralarney (sp?) when he first meets her. Very well done.

Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, everything I've written so far is a "gap" story. I had fun playing with the POV in these two--and the change in Severus. (Although I'd use a word stronger than "prat" regarding his treatment of Trelawney....) Glad you think my character treatment is canon; I waver a bit about Dumbledore, myself, but I think overall he manipulated Snape in a positive way. Thanks for reviewing--and for the compliments!
