Thought you might like to know this lovely little tale is still being discovered and enjoyed. I agree on your assesment of the Snape/Luna dynamic and even wrote my own little piece about it, post DH. I very much liked her gentle, but firm, affirmation that she was only speaking the truth.
Author's Response: Thank you. It's nice to know people are still reading this. Luna and Snape are my favorite characters in the series. They are fun to work with together. Cheers! |

I just loved this story. It was so absolutely charming, and it captured Luna's sweet/luny quality.
Author's Response: Thanks. Luna is such a fun character to write, she's pretty wide open. She has a beautiful spirit. I'm so glad you enjoy the Luna stories, too. Cheers! |

Wonderfully done! It is refreshing to see the "essence" of Luna in a well crafted GenFic; I'm a great fan of her since her first appearance in the movies. And thank you for NOT add yet another pairing to this overheated fandom; I'm getting a wee bit tired of all those "Dark-Potions-Master-shagging-every-female-canon-character-within-reach"-stories.
Author's Response: Luna is my favorite female character in the books. She's fun to write. You are very welcome for the innocent pairing. Cheers! |

While I often prefer to read SS/OC simply because the SS/Canon section has been invaded with Lily and Snape fics for a while now, I have to say that if there were more Luna and Snape pairings out there I might be tempted to poke my head through the section. I like this fic so far, its very refreshing and holds promise. Finally, I'm able to read something within the canon without Lilies and Hermiones bombarding Snape.
Author's Response: Thank you. I take that as a compliment regarding other female characters being brought into the mix. Luna is a great unexploited source. I, however, am not inclined to make her and Severus a romantic couple (unlike the Hermoine crowd). I hold the staff/student pairing as innocent. I used to be a teacher myself. |
