Awesome again! I think I am looking forward to seeing them deal with the lady that got Ruta attacked. Thanks! |

LOVED it! I have to apologize though. I really meant to read this before, but grad school was keeping me very busy. I think that you could probably write professionally if you so chose. GREAT job. Thanks!
Author's Response: I'm just writing a crime story that might actually sell... so I hope you are right, and editors see things the way you do. *smiles* Cúthalion |

Sigh. Love it so much. That evil Stone. This is one of those times when I really want to say something deep and meaningful and profound or insightful, and I have nothing. So. It's fabulous, I love it. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Author's Response: Thank you - I think "I love this so much" is absolutely enough to warm the heart of any author. And it was a joy to write and to share. Cúthalion

I so loved this story - it was deftly characterized and wonderfully nuanced. Ruta is a very believable and likeable OC. I also liked that Harry and Stephen/Severus had some mending and healing of their relationship. I look forward to reading your next story.
Author's Response: Thank you so much dear, for your interest and your reviews - and I'm looking forward to writing it, too! *smiles* Cúthalion

This was beautifully written and a fitting end to the story. I will miss this story, it's right at the top of my personal list of favorites alongside 'A More Merciful Man'. Since you aren't writing an epilogue I hope you can get 'Miss Potter's Secret' written very, very soon. Incidentally, did you know that in the Lake District Miss Potter is Beatrix Potter and that the name Potter in literature up there is always associated with the Tales of Beatrix Potter? As a small child I raised on Peter Rabbit and her other characters, but when we went there last year I had become a big Harry Potter fan and I had to readjust my thinking while I was there. It's such a beautiful place and I was able to visualize it while I read your story.
Author's Response: Thank you very, very much... and yes, of course I know about Beatrix Potter and her relation to the Lake District. My kids love her stories and the BBC TV series, and "Miss Potter's Secret" takes place at Hill Top, her famous house in Near Sawrey. I'll try to write that little offspin as soon as possible. *smiles* Cúthalion

Dearest Cuthalion, I am looking for words to let you know how much I have appreciated this story and how much it had meant to me. Every chapter has left me with a warm feeling in my heart, I have laughed and cried with Ruta and Stephen, and to be honest, I am sad that this wonderful story has come to an end. So I just say thank you: thank you for a beautiful story, thank you for Ruta and thank you for giving Severus Snape a second chance and happiness. /M
Author's Response: And thank "you" so much for all your lovely, enthusiastic reviews. It was pure joy to find them (most reliably) shortly after each newly posted chapter! *smiles* Cúthalion

Please be kinder than I would be and let Stephen stay. Pretty please.
Author's Response: Thou should not despair. There is only one chapter left, remember? (That reminds me that I should really catch up with "The Way Home"...) Cúthalion |

I liked your back-story on Fenrir Greyback; it was very well plotted. Now Ruta just needs to stop pussy-footing around, and take what is being offered.
Author's Response: Pussy-footing? *laughs* That's a really nice way to put it! And I think the lady has to be overrun; never fear, there's a last chapter coming up where exactly that MIGHT happen. Thank you! Cúthalion |

A great chapter - I loved the slow build-up and then the release of the tension. I thought Severus would do a simple "Obliviate" on Vicky - removing her memories was so much more subtle; a nice touch.
Author's Response: Funny enough a simple "Obliviate!" was my first thought (and written into the scene in the very first version). But my clever beta convinced me otherwise. Thank you so much for reviewing! Cúthalion |

Oh, how nice that there's a way to avoid the change. I see why she's making him go home for a day or two, but I wish she had done the exact opposite with him instead!
Author's Response: Most understandable. *grins* Just wait... there's only one chapter left, and I love them both far too much to make them miserable. Thank you very much! Cúthalion |

This was a wonderful chapter, now we know that there is something that can keep her from changing during the full moon and she can have a normal life again, but she knows that Stephen will accept her either way. I wonder if it will fully heal the physical wound that Greyback inflicted on her? Stephen won't leave, I very much doubt that he even wanted to leave that night. They are very much more than friends and I feel that he intends to make what they are to each other permanent and binding. Severus Snape is no longer committment phobic, and neither is Stephen Seeker.
Author's Response: You are right, but I am certain that her reasom to send him away is a honorable one. But both are much to far gone in their relationship to shy away from the consequences. Just a little more patience... *smiles* Cúthalion |

I'm glad he was able to get her safely through the night. Now the real healing can begin and at long last, I'm hoping, they can find happiness together.
Author's Response: Well, I'm doing my very best! Thank you very much! Cúthalion |
