An interesting chapter. Yes, I can see now why Albus, clearly a sensitive boy, would have kept his own counsel about his family and Proserpina's. What I like best about this chapter, though, is the Order of Merlin showing its presence in his special box by a thud "like a dying heart" when he sets it down. The rest is good, too, though I'm rather worried about the death up at the school. Odd that Albus Potter didn't mention it in his letter, if it arrived only that morning. I do hope it's not him. But you said that there's a happy ending, so I'll have faith that you wouldn't do that. Minerva would be sad, though, too. Or any of them, I suppose. Author's Response: There is an upbeat ending indeed--so hang in there.... And once you find out who died (which will be in the next chapter), I think you'll get why Albus would've have mentioned it. (Incidentally, the only way I can live with Albus Severus in canon is by believing that he'd be very different from the rest of the Potter crew. Needless to say I was not a fan of the DH epilogue. sigh)

I've just discovered your story and love it. your Severus is very well written. Proserpina is a very lucky girl indeed to have found Snape for a daddy. You have created a vey likeable OC. Author's Response: Thank you--glad to hear you're enjoying it. Proserpina is very lucky indeed, as is Severus to have her! He needed an OC like her after DH.
