I dearly, truly love this story. I've been waiting (im)patiently for an update, and I'm so glad to see one today!! I love the bits of folk magic and celtic flavor this has. The characterization of Bill is especially grand. He's never really fleshed out in the books, and I like what you've done with him.
Looking forward to more...
GG
Author's Response: Well, thank you so very much. I'm glad someone else likes Bill. I've harbored a soft spot for him as well as our much-maligned Potions Master. Rest assured, I'm slogging along with the story -- a bit disheartened because the original file seems to have gone AWOL. But, I am writing more. I promise. |

Do keep it coming! Very much looking forward to reading on! :-)
Author's Response: I'm a bit slow these days, the whole real life interfering and all, but I promise there is more. |

I am enjoying your charming tale very much, especially being since I am of both scottish and irish decent myself.
I look forward to seeing where you take the story and thank you for sharing your talent and time.
Author's Response: Thank you for reading. I'm sorry the next chapter is taking so long. I've been fighting an infection since New Year's and losing apparently. I promise there is much more to this tale. I hope you can help keep my gaelic "true." I appreciate that you took the time to encourage me. |

The only thing I can think to improve this would be a pronunciation guide for those of us whose Gaelic is... well... less than adequate. Thanks!
Author's Response: My verbal command of the language is sorely limited. I can barely write, and know a few phrases, but here goes nothing:
Dia duit: jee ah ditch
Maithair: maw heard
Cead mile failte: ked meal fault
I have been drawn the lyrical quality of the language for quite a while, and, well, fell into using it for this story because my OFC need to live where they do ... read on, and some answers will be clearer soon. Thanks for taking the time to comment. I greatly appreciate it. |

I am starting to seriously like this story....I hope you got a lot of chapters still to come
Author's Response: Witte heks: I can promise lots of chapters to come. I'm not known for being succinct. Thank you so much for the encouragement. The next chapter might be a while only because of holiday craziness in my neck of the woods. Thanks again, Pitt. |

Mmm, so how is Snape going to cope with those three women, eh? :D Higher standard, yes, higher standard. :D Good luck with this one, Pit. Can't wait to see what you cook up for us.
Author's Response: :D So much for standard, lol. Hope you enjoy the recipe. |

I didn't know you were planning to post this here. Posting her should get you some new fans. I'll be waiting for the next chapter.
Author's Response: Trickie, I hadn't planned anything lol. This is an exercise in holding myself to a higher standard. ;) |
