Reviews for A More Merciful Man

I have just recently discovered this wonderful story! At this point, I am not sure who Severus is going to pick, since you've done such a great job of making the choices fairly equal. I can well understand that an impoverished, unappreciated Severus would be strongly attracted to the Gash offer and all the power and prestige he could have. And Priscilla in love with Draco! That just muddies the water further, given Severus's envy of Lucius.

I read yesterday you whole story: it's an amazing one and I enjoyed it very much! I like Jane, she is a very interesting OC! My favourite part was the Luna/Harry-thing and Snape playing matchmaker against his will :) And it's good to have Dumbledore around, but as a ghost he is even more annoying :) Looking forward to more chapters!

Ooooh, nice twist in the tale. I am so enjoying this story, it's one of the best I've read (and, I have to admit, I've read hundreds...). I really wonder where this is going? Your original characters are well fleshed out and blend seamlessly into JKR's world. More, please?

I have not been able to stop reading your story. Really well written. Love the dialogue, especially the banter between Snape and Lupin,(at points it made me laugh out loud); you have really brought these two characters to life, I feel as if I am watching a HP film, or reading one of the books, you have captured them so well. The erotic scenes are explicit but not sleazy. Please continue the story soon. Very impressive!

Nice twist. I can't see Severus enjoying his lovely manor house and elevated social standing knowing that Princilla is probably sneaking around to see Draco (and given her history, Draco would be the first of many). Double standards for Severus! It's one thing for him to have a mistress, but it would be another thing entirely for him to know his wife was seeing a lover. Well, I certainly hope this is the information that will straighten Severus out regarding his dithering over a potential Gash alliance. Thanks for the update! I was getting worried.

Ah, Princilla and Draco, they seem like a good match to me. Is there any other reason Gash is against it other than he doesn't rust love as a safe and fulfilling emotion. How does Draco feel about her? Why was Lucius trying to push Snape into a match? I'm surprised he wasn't trying to charm Gash and pull all the strings he could to procure the match for Draco. On our holiday last month we spent 9 days in the Lake Distric in Ambleside at the top of the lake, the Village of Windermere was only a mile or two down the road. It rivals the Monterey Peninsula as the most beautiful place I've ever been, but it has quite a few more surprises than the penisula. Round every bend in the road is a more spectacular view. The grass is the most intense green I have ever seen and that sets off all the spectacular views. even more.
