I really love "missing" chapters like this...the one shot I finished a few weeks ago had him aged considerably in a year as I imagine it would have been highly stressful for even Severus to have not a single living confidant except Dumbledore in portrait form. Anyways, well done! Author's Response: Hi! Thanks for your review! I agree it would have been stressful for Severus, thought I would not say 'even'. This is the same guy who stuck with his proto-DE friends as a boy because he wanted to belong somewhere. I don't think that need ever went away, he just accepted that he would have to live without it. sniff

Oh! What a well-done piece. It was one thing to face Dumbledore, all cheery smiles and in on it. Thick as thieves. But to face Minerva, whom he does respect, and treat her with contempt like this....his life sucks. It was bad enough when he was just the black sheep, but this...this is unbearable. How could he stand it? For months and months! Again, well done. Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! And I see my major point got across loud and clear, too! How could he stand it? I have no idea...because he had to, to keep his commitments, I guess. Sigh...
