Reviews for Potomac

It's interesting that Remus's friends think he has AIDS, since I've seen theories that Lycanthropy in the Potterverse is something of a metaphor for that illness - similarites include the stigma attached to it and the difficulty of obtaining effective medication. I enjoyed seeing the tables turned on John in this chapter, now that he's the one who needed lookng after.

That was my thought as well. It also seemed like a logical conclusion for the Muggles to draw. More fallout to come... Hope you enjoy.

I really like this story--you've slowly given us insight into the depths and history of the relationship between Severus and Remus, and the backstory is very nicely intertwined with the way their current relationship is developing. This reminds me a bit of pir8fancier's stuff Snape-Harry fics, which is no small compliment. I'm a bit confused about who is a Muggle and who isn't. All of the "staff" (except Troy, whose present role isn't entirely clear--surrogate son?) are, I'm assuming, Muggles. But what mystifies me even more is why such a superb story is getting so few reviews. Keep those chapters coming, please.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for your kind words. I am currently fighting with Chapter Nineteen (Well, actually, it's Samuel who is giving me fits) but I'll keep posting completed chapters until my buffer is gone. Thanks also for your question about Wizard vs Muggle. The core cast of Wizards are Severus, Remus, and Draco, with occasional visits from Harry, the rest of the town is exceedingly Muggle (and cowboy).
