This is such a wonderful and exciting story. I can't wait to read more.
Author's Response: I've got more. Now, if only I could find a beta to publish it.... Hmm... |

goody, goody an update. I've been having dsl issues for the past week and have not been able to get online. What a wonderful surpise to see this story updated. I do have one small complaint it was much to short. I want to continue reading it on and on. Thanks again. I wonder what Severus has in mind for Mr. B.?
Author's Response: Nothing nice, I can assure you. |

Yay!!! finally an update... this is the only current fanfic I'm keeping up with. Dang! why did Sev have to cut off Bingley when he was about to reveal "it was all for you"...
Author's Response: Well, the unimaginative answer to that is Bingly was about to attack him but don't worry you'll find out... sometime? I used to know the chapter numbers but this story keeps growing in unusual and unexpected ways. It's one of the last flashback chapters but by then, hopefully, you'll be caught up in other dramas of the story so I'll just tell you. Young Joan, is convinced that Severus has left her to persue his career as a Death Eater. She hits an emotional funk, and Bingly's charm and charisma brings her out of it with the added promise that she can help Severus. It's Bingly who shows her how to create the stone, she joins forces with Dumbledore on the hope that she can one day free Severus from the control and influence of Voldemort. Hmmm... that's the first time I've ever answered a question directly and clearly about this story. I guess, I'm feeling a little sorry for you guys. IT JUST WON'T END!!!! Sorry, for the outburst, it's just that I've already written this entire story and lost it when my last computer crashed. I'm flattered that you're sticking around. Thanks! I find your reviews very encouraging. |

A new chapter! It's like Christmas in June. I too am a loyal checker for updates. I confess I've been reading other fanfic in the interim, but my mind keeps returning to your story. Please continue your wonderful work.
Author's Response: Ahh, thank you! I'm sorry it's been so slow with the updates. Damn real life! Slows me down. I've got another chapter in the que so hopefully it won't be that long. |

Of course it hasn't been too long between updates to get reviews! I check almost daily specifically for this story. I absolutely love how it goes back and forth between the two times. Severus is completely in character and you've kept him that way through the entire story. Sometimes it seems stories start strong with keeping him in character and then can't keep it up through the entire story. I love how you write him and Joan is a great new character. Can't wait for the next update!
Author's Response: Am I blushing? I... I think... I think I'm blushing. Oh... yes, umm.... (giggles) I most certainly am. Thank you for the many compliments. |

I don't understand? Why does she ask him for an unbreakable vow? Severus does not know about her powers and yet she knows that he is a death eater. I'll be looking forward towards your next update as always.
Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing. I was worried that it had been so long between updates that I wouldn't get any. As for the unbreakable vow, it's the only way she can be sure that Severus won't hand her over to Voldemort. That's what she's worried about. Keep in mind when we're young we do stupid things, like make unbreakable vows in the spur of the moment. Which I might add is one of the major complications in this story because if Severus breaks his vow, he dies. Oooh...? Have I given to much away? |

You are so sadistic!! Ok, so Severus is actually starting to creep me out a little.... This last chapter, in particular, was upsetting for me to read. I mean, it was good; just a bit upsetting. One of these days you're going to have to write me a comedy.
Author's Response: I know! He's getting creepy isn't he, but it wouldn't be a true Severus if he wasn't. It's love bordering on obsession... hard to tell the difference sometimes. I am writing you a comedy. It just hasn't gotten very far. Sigh... I've been having computer issues but hopefully that's all cleared up. I'll be updating soon. |
