What's the promise???? Do tell. I'm going to continue to read (and leave reviews!). :D Keep up the great work! (I like Joan as an OC paired up with Sev -- Lucius better get away from her!!!!) 10/10 is my rating! ~Meli♥

I hope that Joan (I'll call her Jo through out my reviews, if you'll let me ;]) is a good OC to be with him. He deserves someone caring like her. Also, that quote is enlightening. (A different variation was told by Sirius in the fifth book I think.... A person is shown by how he treats his inferiors -- or something like wise...) ~Meli♥ P/s: 10/10 is my rating!!! Keep up the great work! Unless you're already finished... :`(

Did she by any chance give him the stone that's in his pocket? Interesting idea that you've come up with though -- keep it up! (It's what brought me to reading this!) Wonderful! 10/10 for a nice first chapter. I'm already wondering what happened between them 19 years ago... ~Meli♥

ok- I've been reading this story for three days now and I'm totally addicted!!! Can't wait to find out who is the man that keeps interrupting them and what the locket was about... I wonder if Joan has the same powers as a phoenix - is she immortal like them... so she can die and be reborn?

Author's Response: Three days? Oh-my-god, I so know how you feel. I've done that with a few stories, so understandly, I'm tickled pink that my story has had that effect on you. First of all, thanks for reviewing, I'm always very excited when I hear from a new reader. And secondly, a couple of clues: The man who inturputs in chapter 17 is not the same man in chapter 16, the 'locket' which is actually a stone is VERY important but you don't found out how important until the end, and lastly, when Joan dies, she dies no buisness about being reborn. Although, a few of you guys are getting close to her secrect. (evil laugh)

I read chapter 16 before you changed it. I liked it, but this one is definately better. I'm glad you're back on track and am looking forward to the next chapters. I certainly can't wait to read who it is that so rudely interupted Joan and Severus at the end of chapter 17. I love your style of writing....please update soon!

Author's Response: Really? I guess everone was caught up in the lemony bits of 16. I'm glad you like the rewrite. They never did get that carried away in my first draft of 16 so I'm sorta of glad I had to rewrite it. I've been able to retain a little more of their childhood sweetness this way. As for who interupts them, I love that character, I hope everyone else does. Although, once again, he didn't come across as loveable in the rewrite of chapter 19 as I had hoped. And I'm very flattered that you like my style. I take that as quite a compliment. Thank you for reading and reviewing.

WTF?! The next chapters better be on their way... Oh, and I enjoyed the schmoopy bits.

Author's Response: LOL!LOL!LOL!lol....teehe...lol...lol...(soft chuckle)...(grin) Yes, it is a bit like that. In reference to my earlier email, I lied. After I sent that to you I started thinking, and if I can sort out the ending it's going to get a lot more complicated.

This is my favorite chapter in the story. I love that he pins her against a shelf in the library; that must've been his "turf" when he was a student and I can totally see him saying all those things to her. I love young Snape; he's still snarky but sweet too. *melt*

Author's Response: Isn't that what we all love? The inner sweetness beneath the snark. Lol Thanks for your review. Young Snape does seem to be quite popular.
