Very interesting start and finally a female character which, I hope, is not destined to fall in love with our dear Potion Master. Or hopefully not to be corresponded if she should. (I like canon Snape, I think you have understood it by now!). Anyway, your story looks very intriguing, I liked the dialogs and the moods. I am eagerly waiting for the development. Personally, I find my later chapters much better than this! However, I hate to disappoint you and say that it does become quite clear that this girl does have a very odd fascination with Snape.
