Wow! What a wonderful angsty meeting between Malfoy and Snape. You paint such a vivid picture of the two of them it is so easy to see the scene play out. Full of venom and spite ("Armadillo Bile" is an apt title for this chapter). I can't wait till you give us a new chapter!

Smackdown! I do love it when anyone gets the better of Malfoy the elder. And the one about his wife was such a nicely delivered put-down.

I have just discovered this story, and find it a refreshing portrayal of Snape. You've an obvious flair for prose and dialogue, and some of your descriptions have made me snort with laughter. You have Snape's characterization spot-on. The only quibble I have with the plot is that you've not yet convinced me that Jane is a worthy object of Severus' affection.
