This was recced over on Aspen's A Year Like No Other Yahoo group. I'm glad I followed the link. It portrays a sweet, gently humorous and hopeful future for the survivors. Thanks for writing it!
Author's Response: Thanks for the compliment. I do love my Snedgehog. |

Makes me even more sorry I cannot be an animagus...
Delightful to read...
Author's Response: Thank you! I'd make a good hedgehog myself. I'm very near-sighted and bit prickly! Glad you liked it.

Absolutely delightful and refreshing. I loved it. The fact that you're a very good writer with a twist to your imagination doesn't hurt either. You've given me a new lease on my desire to read stories about our favorite Potions Master. Not seeing a touch of romance helped a great deal. And I can't believe I almost forgot - No Sue in sight! Yes!
Author's Response: Thanks! If you read any other of my stories, you'll see I do neither romance nor "Sue" very well. ; }

I enjoyed reading your story a lot. Prickly animagus for a prickly Potions Master was a brilliant idea.
I also liked the fact that it was a general friendship fic and the idea of both of them finding peace in their animagus forms.
Crunching beetles and earthworms and gaining weight? :) lol.
Author's Response: Thank you. Once I saw Snape as a hedgehog, it practically wrote itself.

The title and summary caught my eye and I am so glad that they did! The was a wonderful little story. I love the "twist" that Potter's form took, though I am partial to Moose. Oddly enough, the thought of Snape as a hedgehog fits! Well done.
Author's Response: Thanks! I picked Moose for Harry because it was part of a challenge. Then when I realized what a perfect hedgehog Severus would be, the story all but wrote itself.

Really loved this story. I can just picture the prickly Potions Master as a hedgehog... discovering that the world can be a peaceful place to dwell. Excellent imagery.
Author's Response: Thank you! Once I saw Snape as a hedgehog, the story practically wrote itself!

Cute little story. I enjoyed it tremendously.
Author's Response: Thank you! I don't ordinarily do cute but how can you avoid it with a Snedgehog?

What a charming story! I loved Severus's hedgehog view of the world. The descriptions of the bugs he ate almost made me want to try one! Very original.
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, those bugs and worms did sound tasty, didn't they? I must have been peckish when I wrote it. :}
