| Nicely done! I often get the impression in the "conspiracy theory" of Snape's innocence that Dumbledore knew everything all along. This scenario is much more believable - they've made their plans, and are sticking to them...but what happens on the Tower is not Plan A, or even Plan B. It is Plan Worst!Case!Ever!, which means that neither of them "planned" it, but they couldn't help it, either. Which is just a really long way of saying I buy it, and think you have done a good job of crafting their thoughts at this point in the year.
