3: Chapter Three: Eileen's Secret |

The first three chapters have been a very interesting read, and I like your ideas about Snape's mother and her reasons for marrying a muggle. Also, I had wondered where Riddle got the information he needed about Hogwarts, since that information wasn't even in the restricted section of the Hogwarts library. I'm looking forward to the rest.
Author's Response: Thanks so much! The next two chapters will be up soon. Chapter four finishes the view of Snape's childhood (yikes!), and Chapter five shows a discussion between Snape and Lupin in the present - I had a lot of fun writing that. |

That was really good! This is a great twist to all that we know and project. To imagine that Snape's mom knew and interacted (and even helped) Riddle is a new one that I have not read or heard before. I love new ideas! Good job and I look forward to more of this story.
Author's Response: Thanks! I wanted Snape to be able to help the Order more than only as a spy, and so wanted him to be able to access some Horcrux info - and Eileen was a perfect opportunity. Tom's effect on Eileen was a way to pass that damage on to her son as well, indirectly. And it was a way to explain why Eileen wasn't using her magical power as a defense against her Muggle husband in the Occlumency memory. Thanks for your review! |
