Reviews for Aphrodisiac

Despite the slips in Narcissa's inward thought streams and the occasional spelling mistake (Rudolphus Lestrange instead of Rodolphus), I really, really enjoyed this fic, especially towards the end, where Narcissa shifts her loyalties in what can only be described as a quintessentially Slytherin manner. Bravo on the last few paragraphs, I say - you could use a bit of editing here and there, but the last few bits makes it entirely worth it. Great job.

Author's Response: Don't let the admins know they missed a correction! They'll have my head. Snork. Went and fixed it. This was once the start of a longer story but since it was heading for sex and I can't write a decent sex scene to save my life, I figured I'd just post what I had so, no, it hasn't been given a really good going over, just enough to make it vaguely acceptable. Glad you liked the end, though and thanks for telling me about the spelling error. Amorette

Albus must have knitted the socks for him, or he could have asked the house elf who knits (Winky?) to do it for him. If Narcissa manages to seduce him, I wonder if he will convert her to his side. I'm sure he could make good what Dumbledore offered Draco, and it would be much safer for her and Draco. Let Lucius rot in Azkaban, he deserves it. She should opt for safety for herself and Draco.

Author's Response: I assume Albus knitted the socks, which appear in another, unfinished story of mine as well. Just like those stripey socks, I guess. I thought this story might go on to some smut and Snarcissa but it seemed to end best right where it was. Thanks for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it. Amorette

Wow, that's just all I can say. Compelling and natural. This fits everything we know about Narcissa, and the socks are a wonderful touch. I'd guess Albus knitted them for Severus, but she never would.

Author's Response: Albus knitted the socks for Severus. I have them reappear in another, unfinished story because they just seem such a wonderful symbol of how Albus really felt about Severus. Thanks for commenting. Amorette
