Reviews for Well Begun is Half Done

His character is so complexly wonderful. I can go from reading a Snape is Good story and then to a Snape is Evil story and find both stories to be true to his character. Snape's interaction with Lily was a bit disturbing, but in a darkly beautiful way, sort of the way the Phantom of the opera is with Christine.

This story seems to harken to the other hypothisis that Snape is still on the side of the dark and never changed, that he was biding his time and remaining at Hogarts for his own reasons. It would go to figure that his motive was his obsessive love for Lily. Snape wants the DL D.E.A.D. wtih a capital "D" but not for the good of the wizarding world or the order. That he is not loyal to Dumbledore but only using the situation to know as much as possible about what is happening so he can position himself (or Potter) to be in the right place at the right time to finish old Voldie off for good. His last revenge. But then what? After spending a life time plotting revenge what life is left? It will be very interesting to see how this story goes and if I am correct in my other thoughts about what hypothisis you are running on or if you have your very own brand!

So when does Lucius tell Voldemort that Snape could have, but failed to brew the potion that would have returned the Dark Lord back. A sequel is called for.

Author's Response: Oooh tempting, but difficult to work in post-HBP. I doubt Lucius is thinking charitably of Voldemort after threatening his family. Will file the idea away for future use. Thank you for the review.
