I wonder if the fact that Severus was under the influence of the unicorn blood at the time he was given the cruciatus could be his ticket to mental freedom given the right key? You would think that it might do something since it keeps a person alive even though death would normally be the result.....just a thought. Sort of a sad chapter if Severus gets moved from Hogwarts.
