Reviews for A Patched Looking Glass

Great story! Nice way you dealt with the pairing, I like the backstory component.

Author's Response: Thank you! The idea just wouldn't let go after "Spinner's End," so I'm glad others find it believable.

This is a really good fic and I love the pairing. Please update soon.

Author's Response: I've been a one-shot wonder for most of my fanfic writing career (all of 10 or 11 months, lol), but I definitely haven't abandoned this idea. Thanks for reading & reviewing!

Why didn't I come across this before? Lovely! You've done a nice job of balancing Snape's misanthropic tendancies with the heart we all believe he has! And I love the ending. What a great way to explain Draco's attitude during HBP. Congrats on this being a featured story this month ... you deserve it!

Author's Response: And what a nice review! Thanks, Sophy!

"He simply knelt before his former lover and offered up what felt like his very soul—or, anyway, what was left of it." Oooh, shivers! I like the suggestion for why Draco is suddenly so distrusting of Snape.

Author's Response: Thanks so much!

Wow, I sometimes just cannot get into Snape/Narcissa but this was beautiful. Thank you so much for writing it!

Author's Response: I feel especially pleased, then, that you liked my take on this pairing! Thanks!

I read this late last night, actually about 4 AM and I was too sleepy to do a review so I will do one now. I like the way you started this story, it really got me into the romance. I've read SS/NM stories before but the romance always started when they were adults and after Draco was born. I hope you will be giving me some history on their relationship in the preceeding chapters. Draco getting home before Severus had a chance to leave that morning explains why he didn't trust Snape enough to tell him what task he had been assigned and showed him less respect than usual. The eroticism was as I like it, only enough to get my imagination geared up to fantasize what happened next.

Author's Response: Thank you--I'm glad you liked it! I feel like I've written the beginning and the end of the story, but left out the middle, so, yes, I'm definitely going to touch on the past in the future ;).

my favorite pairing....and to few write these two and I think they possibly have the most passion of any of the characters..this story is wonderful and I hope to see you continue..please update soon as I will be checking daily...

Author's Response: Thank you! This is actually part of a story that started with SS/NB in 5th year at Hogwarts; I've posted this and the first chapter from Narcissa's point of view over at Pureblood. I had meant to continue from Narcissa's pov, but Snape demanded to be heard this time. Although I plan to continue with this pairing, esp. once I can get back in Narcissa's head, I have to warn you that I am a bit slow on updating. (Real life tends to get in the way....) However, I imagine more people are writing this pairing since HBP, so hopefully you will start to come across more Severus / Narcissa. (And do check Pureblood!) Thanks again! Neta
