I hope the old saying is right for her, "Things are always darkest before the dawn".

Wonderful story.
Maud is a fascinating character.
Severus Snape stays truly in character, as does Alastor Moody. I wonder, if there will be a confrontation between those two in the chapters still to come ? I am looking forward to it.
I also hope that Maud and Snape will overcome their diffilculties because to find a cure for Maud's blindness would be at least a small redemption for the potions master.
Maybe Dumbledore has a piece of advice for Maud in order to help ?
Keep up the good work !
And lots of Owl Treats to Athena !
Author's Response: Dumbledore does indeed have some advice -- as you'll see in the next chapter. As for Alastor and Snape, they are indeed fated to meet, in time... and thanks very much for the review! |
