Reviews for Warning Shot

Entirely plausible, though much too sublte and sophisticated for Rowlings. I do wish she had thought to do something with a more adult perspective; Harry's naivete can be quite grinding. I have read that Book 7 is started--it's going to be a long two-three years! I have already started plotting an escape hatch for the Potions Master, in the event that Rowlings' conclusion proves a disappointment. I wonder: who is in charge of the Order of the Phoenix now that Albus and Snape are out of the running? Minerva seems implausible, Remus rather unlikely, and the rest far beyond any possibility. Certainly not any of the students, either! Of course, Rowlings can always throw in another new character, as she did for MoM, but that is such a lame method of succession. Some fanfiction authors get so wound up in PWP that the saga suffers. I am glad that you are exploring the possibilities opened by HBP. Thanks for writing! I revere everything you've written to date for its quality and quantity.

Well done! *sigh* I so want Snape not to be evil...

Ooo, nicely done. Severus and Minerva are both highly in character. Sadly, I feel the warning is too subtle for Minerva, but maybe she'll at least watch her back.

Good story! Very fresth approach in showing Severus as still one of the light without it being too overt.

This is the kind of stories I like the most, well written and based on a very original idea. Congratulations!

Poor Severus - this would be an effective yet subtle message for a Slytherin, but Minerva is a stubborn and unsubtle Gryffindor and may need him to write her a blunt letter. Thanks for posting! Ahem.... I wouldn't mind another chapter.....

Oooooo! I definitely look forward to *this* story.
