| Good to see you updating again! This is still one of the stories where I'm eagerly waiting for more. And now we seem to be getting somewhere too ^_^
Snape sounded rather weird, uncharcateristically self-condemning and scarily obsessed in this chapter but then again.... he was pretty sloshed so that may be it. Uhm, he was doing spells left and right so must be shielded against detection, I wonder why he didn't use a sobering charm or potion? I can't imagine him not prefering to have his wits in such an important situation.... Anyway, I'm very much looking forward to their talk! Author's Response: Thank you so much, Aragon! I think Snape has been isolated for so long, that he's having some... emotional instability. I'm going to definitely be getting into his psyche a little bit further. | Heh. I rather thought that something would happen to Maggie's car (although I thought the accident would be more serious and that would be the huge 'train wreck.'). So, how long before the next chapter? :) Will Snape proposition Maggie in an attempt to drive her away? Will the evil strip club owner's plan work temporarily? Author's Response: Thanks, DrMM! In some ways, the accident could have some serious repercussions. :-) I'm ready to send the Interlude off to my second beta, so that should be up shortly and I've started on Chapter 7. | Beautiful, just plainly beautiful! The way they're both fighting with their pride and emotions, and actually their lives or what's left of them. This chapter was definately worth the wait and I'd love to see the next one up really soon. You once again did a great job, thank you for sharing it with us. | Thank you, thank you, thank you for updating this story! I wish Severus was not so shallow about the prospect of love but I guess it could be thought of as out of character for him so far. | Say "YES!" Severus!!! Don't let her go to the city!! If you have to suddenly leave town, you can have a note and some money set aside for her in advance. Don't send her away!!!! (reader sneaks 'cling' charm so Severus, Maggie, and Mikayla cling together... tells plot bunnies they can go to Lumos only if they write happy chapters for Severus, Maggie, and Mikayla.... hires hit bunnies to kill Harry and Denbrows....) I'm not sure I want my plot bunnies to go to Lumos because they say what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
