Maggie sounds like a fabulous character.
I can just imagine Severus being extremely puzzled why Muggle women should need a book on the subject, I bet wizard moms just nurse.
Author's Response: Thank you, Owlbait! I'm sure wizard moms have charms and spells that make it all easy and effortless. I don't think it's fair! :-) ~Lisa |

I love the journal style of the prologue, insinuating us into the world Severus now lives in. One thing I admire about your stories is how absolutely comfortable you are, to take these characters completely out of their "natural" environment, and to sell us on the idea. Will Severus find happiness? I'm along for the ride, to find out.
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Subversa! I have a question for you -- will Severus recognize happiness if he finds it? :-) ~Lisa |

Dear LariLee,
Make me review more, ah? OK, so here I go. A new WiP - that's nice ;) Especially as I like WiPs. And this idea is very, very interesting. I'm looking forward to reading more.
I like your style and the Snape here is intriguing. And I'm curious as to what direction this is going to take.
Greetings from Poland, Novinha
Author's Response: Thank you, Novinha! I'll keep updating and hopefully you'll keep reading and reviewing. :-) ~Lisa |

There is something extremely compelling about this line: "They do not realize that between Dumbledore’s formidable brain and my strong will, we laid plans within plans within plans."
I think it is that I like to imagine that Dumbledore is so canny as to have plotted the war far more moves in advance than anyone would have dared credit him with; that his death was just another move on the chessboard, a sacrifice that was necessary to put another piece in a better position to win the game.
Beautifully done, over all. I'm looking forward to seeing this continued.
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Zhaneraal! I admit that is how I think Dumbledore has planned it. Of course, I also think Snape is still a good guy, so we both may be delusional. :-) I'm glad you're enjoying this! ~Lisa |

I hate this Harry, and I adore this Severus. I hope Harry never catches him. Great job!
Author's Response: Thank you so much, marina! I'm glad you're enjoying this! About Harry, I'm making no promises. ~Lisa |

Wonderful! Have you ever thought about making it longer and going into Severus's new life?
Author's Response: Thank you, Shorty McGee! It will be longer. At this point, I'm looking at 10 to 15 chapters (which can be considered in the same vein as 10 or 15 more minutes...). I'm glad you're enjoying it! ~Lisa |

This looks like it's shaping up to be an amazing story. The Snape's journal POV is powerful and convincing. I so hope this isn't the fate in store for him after book 7 (although it's better than the doom which I'm expecting.)
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Owlbait! I can't say if it will be amazing or not, but it insists on being told. :-) I hope you keep on enjoying it! (And I agree that his chances for living past book 7 are slightly worse than a snowball in hell). ~Lisa |
