Welcome back, m'dear! First of all, thanks for updating, and I won't even say finally. Snape and his people skills, or lack there of, are getting in the way. Oh well I'm sure sooner or later cooler heads will prevail... I hope!
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Lady Whitehart! I'm sorry it's taken me a while, but it's the oddest thing that I really can't write the chapter unless I'm also writing the Interlude. Which means the Interlude should be up in the next few days. :-) I'm so happy you're enjoying this! ~Lisa/LariLee |

Ack, Severus still doesn't know she thinks the money is tainted! Use your Legilimency, Severus!! Ahem.... I hope for vengeful Muses to kill the Denbrows and Harry the Boy Who Outlived His Usefulness. Vampire plot bunnies are good, too, although I really, really, really like Pink Corsair's suggestion last chapter about "motivating" your plot bunnies. Happy new year, LariLee!
Author's Response: Thank you, June W! They're definitely having problems communicating. Killing the Denbrows would be very emotionally satisfying, but I have plans for Harry. :-) The vampire plot bunnies scare me. Pink has suggested cattle prods in the past. Happy New Year! ~Lisa/LariLee |

Hi Larilee! I finally had time (and internet access) to allow me to read this story! I love it! You have such a talent fo building characters. They're all a bit edgy, especially Snape and Harry. The details you provide - the Hummingbird, Bryant's to-do list, the mean prank caller - make the characters feel very real. I look forward to reading an update, and I hope I'll have time to soon to get back to ARB! Hope you're doing well.
Best, Sophie
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Sophie! I am hoping that you continue to enjoy this and I'm still working on ARB as well as a story on Ashwinder. So many plot bunnies, so little time. :-)
Best back to you! ~Lisa/LariLee |

I would just like to gently point out, assuming no one else has, that no library staffer under my supervision and certainly no Librarian worth her/his salt would ever discuss what library patrons had checked out. Gilda
Author's Response: Thank you, Gilda. I think most librarians would not, however, I've definitely overheard quite a few conversations in public libraries in both small towns and larger cities. The world needs more librarians like you. ~Lisa/LariLee |

"All I want for Christmas is for Larilee to update her WIPs, to update her WIPs..." ;) Hope that gets the bunnies in the holiday spirit, the muses get some eggnog.
Author's Response: Thank you, amycnorm98! All the plot bunnies circled the computer and began singing. I wish they could carry a tune. :-) Chapter 5 is at the first beta now, so it should be soon. :-) ~Lisa/LariLee |

Ahem... it's been a while you know. When will you update????
Author's Response: Has it been that long, Melpomene Erato? I've got the next chapter nearly 80% done and I'm mapping out the Interlude. For some reason, not having the Interlude clearly defined in my head made writing the chapter harder. I'm not sure why. But it shouldn't be too much longer. :-) ~Lisa |

What's the hold up??? It been two weeks, that's 14 days or 336 hours or 20,160 minutes. Plenty of time to bang out a new chapter. I know why I'm not updated, I'm lazy. What's your excuse Lisa?
Author's Response: But, pink, if I just wanted to bang out a chapter, I could probably do that in a day or two. I want to be perfect. And perfection takes time. That's a good bullshit answer. :-) Update, please. ~Lisa |

Wow! I go away for a bit more than a week and there are TWO new chapters. And now at least one of Snape's love interests is out of the hospital. Patricia is still pulling a Rip Van Winkle in St. Mungo's, but the important thing is I'm not bitter about it. I do, however, wish Maggie would get bitter about something. I think she needs a little Wrath of Snape on her side. Let the cleaning begin!
Author's Response: Thank you so much, MoreThanSirius! You know, I've got two stories where the lead female is working lousy jobs to pay the rent, two stories where the lead female is in the hospital, two stories that are not HBP-compliant and two stories that feature females pregnant by unworthy men. How the hell have I done this when I only have three WiPs? I suppose, like Rowling, math is not my strong suit. Grapes of Wrath of Snape would be a very good vintage. :-) ~Lisa |

No begging necessary, darlin'. And I do hope that Severus doesn't start the conversation with he has something he wants cleaned; then again, it WOULD be quite funny, but not condusive to the start of any kind of good relationship, even if it's a working one and not a romantic one. And Harry really does need counseling; he's got some serious issues. Can't wait for more! *waves and blows kisses to the cute little plot bunnies*
Author's Response: Thank you so much, macabre31! I really hope he does not start the conversation off that way, but I've giggled at the possible repercussions. Especially if she's holding a hot coffee pot. Have you ever seen a dozen bunnies stand up and do The Wave with their ears? It's really... odd. But they love you! ~Lisa |

DUH! I somehow missed a chapter. The 'kitten' fight on the playground was so realistic. Little girls are born with claws bared.
I see that our dear Snape is trying to delude himself into thinking that he's a changed man. :) Well, DE!Snape would have used the Imperious Curse I suppose. At least Maggie will get some pain relief out of the deal.
Ow! One of your plot bunnies just bit me! You did have them vaccinated, didn't you?
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Lady Whitehart! Kids are very quick to hone in on the one that doesn't fit in and they can be very cruel. I think Snape hasn't changed, but he's not quite as bad as he believes himself to be. The plot bunnies have been vaccinated, but if it's that little blue-gray one... well, he kind of skipped away from it. ~Lisa |
