| What a great New Year's present to see updates to this story! Hooray for dancing plot bunnies (and any other plot bunnies floating around out there). I'm in rehearsal right now for a Tennessee Williams play, and, believe me, the Denbows would fit right in -- can't wait to see them come into their own (so to speak). | So great you updated this one as well! I feel so so sorry for Maggie, I understand her motives clearly but she'll get herself back into the hospital or even worse if she doesn't start to pay attention to her condition soon. It was sad that she mistook the presents as a warning, making her even more scared about the Denbrows. The part about her mother really scared me though, the thought that sex should be all about a man's pleasure and such, it seems almost unreal in the environment in which I grew up and probably most of us, yet you do not have to look so far outside to see that it does belong to the upbringing of some women. Anyway, you're doing a great job on making this story a very emotional engaging one! Author's Response: Thank you so much, Fleurke! She's young and she's desperate which doesn't put her in a good position to make decisions. I find Maggie's parents to be the scariest 'villains' I have. | Okay, I need my silver hammer. Why can't that arse see that Maggie's reactions to his offer are about HERSELF and not about HIM? Dammit, Severus Snape, I love you, but you're a real shit, sometimes. I know he can help her more than her Muggle doctors are helping her.
Please tell me that the wrath of Snape is going to fall on the Denbrows, and that Maggie and Mikayla will be safe and warm and well fed, and that Severus will be well-shagged and well loved. You know I don't mean it. I don't want to know how the story ends before we get there. Tell it to me any way you wish. | I can't decide if it's a good thing or a bad thing that I know what's coming. I know for sure that I'm impatient for subsequent chapters. This is such a good story. Seriously! I am so emotionally invested in these characters. This could be a story even without the whole Snape angle and I would still read it. (Though it would sitll require a tall, dark, and snarky man as the romantic lead....you could call him Sebastian Scape or Meverus Mape er... or something like that.) /silliness and fangurling. | Poor Maggie! And Snape ... always thinks it's about him, doesn't he? Of course, the story is about him ... ;D Still, I hope he figures out soon what's really going on with Maggie. Looking forward to the "the real start of the story," though I think these five chapters and four interludes are a really great start as is!
