Congratulations! It always feels so good to finish a story, but then I'm sad that it's over! I liked Meri a lot and hope you will start a new story soon!

Bravo! I loved your happy ending; I thought it very appropriate for this story. It was heart-warming to find out Meri and Severus had been connected for longer than they both had realized. And BTW, I just *loved* Sirius' first question about the baby... :)

Aww, that was great! You kept me smiling and sighing right till the end, Elyse. It was a lovely story, and if the ending was 'syrupy', well, so what? Syrupy is good, when it tops off a marvellous confectionm sucha s this! I loved Meri. I could identify with her and really understand her. Your Snape is fairly similar to how I myself imagine him to be when in love...he can't be a git ALL the time, after all! The idea was original and interesting, as I have said before...and finally, I am so glad you took it up again and finished it. Thanks.

hi elise, i added your story to "my favorites". and i`m waiting for the next chapter. Hope you`re OK because you wrote something about a breakdown? on fanfiction.net. So, do not worry and do not rush..your story is wonderfull. At first I found the religious part of the story a bit ...difficult (I cannot say I believe but i`m also not a non-believer..call me searching for my own truth like we al should do) but I now think you did a very good job. I like your alternative vision in this story. Even wizards should ask questions about the BIG questions..one request..please do not let sev follow meri`s path in her religious life instantaniously (sorry if not spelled correct i`m foreign). he`s a very intelligent man who will adopt some off her views but will take his own path in this region. OK..please don`t think i`m ordering this because it isn`t in my mind..it`s just difficult to find the right words. I love your story and hope you will continue. with love, jess

Hey! Fantastic! It's muuuch better! I love it! Now I know where to find it, so keep posting! Thanks so much for your reviews on Rougarre! You make me so happy! And I see I got the point across exactly as I hoped. :)

Oh, Merri, why Myrtle's lavatory? I can't wait to see Severus' actions after he wakens - I hope he feels ashamed of himself for the terrible things he said. And I hope you'll have pity on your readers and finally fill us in on what exactly occurred between the elder Mr. Snape, the Veela and Severus. Thanks for writing! >"

Wonderful! I was on the edge of my seat there. So, the connection proved to the siren that they truly loved one another. Thank goodness for that! Again, I liked Snape's inner voice and his betrayal. I hope he remembers when he wakes up that he had misjudged her. So glad you're back, Elyse.

Oh dear. You leave me hanging for months only to write the most human, natural and loving sex I have read in ages and then you shatter their idyll?? Argh! This was lovely, really lovely. He was so Snapeish yet so loving, and I love that he got out of their bed in the middle of the night to go and make her a potion. So, the shack appeared there at that time because Molpe thought Meri was ready to see it? Did she have any inkling Snape would overhear her conversation with Meri? Intriguing. And poor Snape, such a typical reaction from him, to be suspicious and to withdraw. And Meri is so lacking in self esteem that she might not see past his cruel words and try to make amends. I wonder how much his cruel, bigoted words at the end are to do with his beliefs and experiences, and how much is a knee jerk reaction to her deception?
