| I'm still enjoying this very much. The Slytherin sorting threw me for a loop, but then, what better foil for Snape. I'm glad to see Black and Lupin back at Hogwarts too. I love it when everyone survives Voldemort and stays happy! Your description of the Great Hall was particularly good. You can paint with words, as well as with a brush! |

| Curiouser and curiouser...the baton is really a wand. My story involves that too! Were we separated at birth? This is getting weird. Anyway, back to chapter 3: This is another great chapter. I love the originality of portraits covering up passages to different worlds. You can write AND paint -- I'm jealous. |

| I absolutely adore this chapter! Especially: "The fact that she'd been near-obsessive about a series of books which described the people and places of this magical world was not lost on her."
That pretty much sums it all up right there! If I'd written that line, I would probably take out the word "near"!
I'm very impressed by the plot line that is developing, and that there seems to be a musical sub plot flying around as well. There's a strange little affinity between us I just discovered. On to chapter 3... |
