Reviews for Kindness

Wow. Not what I was expecting. But then, I'm not quite sure what it is that I was expecting. Very straightforward, and well-written. I like the simplicity of it.

I really liked this somber, little fic! It was well written and seems liek it very likely could have happened. Great job!

Odd? Yes. But also beautifully written and heart-breaking. Thanks for sharing.

Well done ficlet--

Author's Response: Thank you so much. Normally I hate rereading things that I've written, but I still love this one.

You're right--it is an odd littl story, but well-written. I like it. Thanks for the read.

Author's Response: Well, thank you!

Definately... odd. I liked it, but it made me feel a bit depressed... sort of like an ending. I don't know if that explains it properly, but eh. I give it an 8, because it upset me ;)

Author's Response: It is kind of an ending. But like anything other act of entropy, its also a beginning. Thanks for reviewing!

That is a very good story. An honest portrayal. Ver ywell done. Detail was good. I don't know if you did it on purpose but it did lack some emotion. It fit, whether it was purposeful or not.

Author's Response: Actually, the lack of emotion was extremely intentional. The first couple of drafts were just too emotional, and I couldn't figure out what was wrong, until I realized that Snape likely wouldn't choose a prostitute that was terribly prone to emotional outbursts. Just wouldn't happen. I decided to go to the opposite end of the spectrum, and it worked much, much better.

Oddly satisfying. It's going to be a long two-three years.

Author's Response: Thank you! It is going to be a long haul, isn't it? Silly JKR, making us wait that long. :)

Odd yes, but good none the less. I like the claw marks, I often have thought that might be a good line to follow since the hipogriph was attacking him at the end of Harry's exchange with him. This story was sad but with a tone of that underlying heart we know he has.

Author's Response: Snape does have a heart under there somewhere. I think it's wedged between the bitterness and the pettiness, personally, but I know it's there. :)

I really like your original character. Her detached observations draw you right in. Would love it if you wrote more with her. And Snape of course!

Author's Response: I don't think I'm going to write any more with her right away, although I'm tossing around a couple of plot bunnies that would involve her. Stay tuned, you just never know. :)
