Doing some catch up with my morning coffee and hand dipped chocolate turtles. Breakfast of champions..eh? Anyway...I love the "cat fight" between the women. Meow!! LOL! A very good chapter indeed. Your little twists and turns are wonderful. But I must complain about the evil cliffie. Well, off to refill my cup and grab just one...more...chocolate tidbit. When I get back, I'm going to immerse myself in chapter 26. Talk to you later!
Author's Response: Thank you, Deb! Chocolate is the best way to start out the morning. If you hate evil cliff hangers... well, I probably will hear about it. :-) ~Lisa/LariLee |

MORSMORDRE?
Damn, girl. You just keep on pulling out all the stops, don't you?
:::bows reverently to the Queen of the Alternate Universe::: May I be an accolyte? I could carry your train.
Please tell me it's not as heavy as the Hogwarts Express.
Author's Response: Thank you, Subversa! I am accepting applications for minions. Head patting is a must. :-) ~Lisa |

There is nothing wrong with going completely AU. Most of my fics are now that way. This is too wonderful to stop.
Author's Response: Thank you, elysianmusings! I have declared myself "Queen of the Alternate Universe." :-) ~Lisa |

Dang, Lisa, I love the way you switch back and forth between humor and drama. Snape's public display of ownership is wonderful! And I loved the women getting back at Diane -- that poor woman is just outclassed and outgunned. I can't wait to read the next chapter (which, lucky me, is already here!)

Author's Response: Thank you so much, matf! I love to write a good cat fight. :-) It's almost as much fun as being in one. ~Lisa |

I love this story! one question though (and i don't know if its been asked) whats Monamorte? (sp?)
Author's Response: Thank you, LunaSnape! I am so glad you're enjoying this! Morsmordre is the Dark Mark, the sign the Death Eaters would send into the air to show a murder had taken place. I hope this explains it! ~Lisa |

Oh! I forgot. Yes, he makes an appearance in The Three Muskeeters, but his real biography is much more interesting. Armand was an interesting priest ;D |

So yes, I continue to enjoy your story. The suspence is nice and I like that strange girl - a kind of a Seer, is she? I do hope there'll be much more, soon. :D
And I like Deidre. And the ball scene was terrific. I am a person like that. I am disliked for that. Sarcastic and nasty.
Get me to review more, eh? You can try ;) As we say here, you can buy me, just offer me the right gift :D
I can finally add 'ARB' to my list of WiPs. I love WiPs.
Greetings from Poland, for you, your betas - I was beta-ing for the first time in my life recently and I learnt how pleasant and yet difficult it is - and the plot bunnies.
Novinha
Author's Response: Thank you so much, Novinha! I'm glad you liked the catfight, because it was a lot of fun to write. And I would offer to buy you, but I'm sure I can not afford you. Perhaps a rental arrangement? :-) ~Lisa |

I may be reading more into this than you mean, but I am sort of visualizing Bradley as a very stupid Arnold-gov of CA right night. Former athlete turned politician. I hope that Arnold isn't as slimy and pathetic as Bradley, but it is just a little visual for me. I snorted coffee out my nose when Montgomery called Snape "Bub." Come to think of it, I can't believed he lived through that, but the line about Dark potions that require the "living of a lying man" is most priceless. I am not sure that I am trusting Deidre completely, of course. The cliffie is wonderful, and Mark Travers is completely evil, and I cannot wait for the update! Your plot bunnies seem to have been conferred quite amazing literary powers, given the way this is going! Excellent!
Author's Response: Thank you, redvelvetcanopy! There are a lot of stupid politicians who were former athletes or movie stars. :-) I shall say no more (I'm sure the FBI has complete directions to my house by now). I am so happy you're enjoying this! With my new 500 Word a Day quota, all my stories are actually going to be updated with some regularity. ~Lisa |
