| I LIKE that this is about friendship and platonic affection rather than the usual romance. ;) Author's Response: The fact it is a friendship fic has made it a little harder to write, but it's been a fun challenge for me. I think a lack of friends has been one of Severus' big downfalls and he's still trying to adjust to the fact friends do things for each because they want to, not for any sort of gain. :) | |||

| Finally I started this story. I confess I shy away from the 'Snape is in awful shape after the last battle' genre. Tortured Snapes are too sad for me, and I can just cope with Zhaneraal's story. I'm trusting you on this one! :*) Author's Response: Nice to see you joining in, Owlbait. I promise you, it's not as dark as Zhaneraal's story. Okay, it's not easy for him, but it's not that bad. | Nothing quenches the first flush of romantic interest like the smell of a decomposing body! ;) I like the way you're weaving many different threads around the two central characters. | So now, you have answered my final question. I'm glad he's back and serving the treats everyone loved. I wouldn't trust Lucius Malfoy as far as I could throw a Hummer. For spite, if for no other reason, he wouldl try to sabotage the antidote. He must have figured out that Snape is still not fully recovered from the poison, after all why else would Snape search for him. Author's Response: Glad your questions have been answered, Trickie. :) That ice cream is awful darn important, isn't it? LOL...Yeah Lucius isn't someone you would trust very far. Hopefully he will fear showing his face for a while. He's obviously not stupid since he fled the country. The question is, is he really sure Severus isn't totally well? Personally, I think Severus could kick his ass in a magical duel. ;) | |||

| Very glad they got a blood sample from Lucius! Why did Severus tell Lucius her real name?! They should tell her daughters to be careful too. So they got all the apothecary's notes before they had to leave the shack? Any other Death Eaters alive? Sigh.... Thanks for having Pomona be nice in her letter, and for updating! Author's Response: Thanks, June. I'm glad you're asking so many questions. They should get answered soon enough....As for the name, that's what comes from not having a plan. LOL...For Pomona, I figured those that knew him and Albus best, would be more likely to believe the truth (at least as I imagine it) than those that didn't. | |||
