That was just adorable. It brings back memories when mine were little. (Though, it is hard to picture Snape as a tiny baby...)
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it!:) This story has been updated to be HBP compliant and will be continued for five chapters as a prequel to a new story that I'm working on. |

Lovely story, nicely characterized. Much as I love the name Lilith, you could easily change it to Eileen.
Author's Response: There was a significance to the name Lillith, but after reading HBP I see why JKR chose the name Eileen for Snape's mother. I think it was her intent to show that Snape had issues with anyone who was special or extraordinary in any way because he was horribly ordinary himself. I am currently working on a short-shot about Snape's very early childhood. |

What a beautifully sweet portrayal of a mother and child. Why didn't this win a Multi-faceted Award? Simply stunning.
Author's Response: Thank you. I think all mohter's can relate to this. |

Certainly, there is nothing wrong with updating in order to comply with canon! It keeps the fics current.
Author's Response: I just revised this story. I hope you enjoy newer version just as much. |

I just loved this! They way you described a mother's love and hopes for her son is spot on! It's nice to create such soft, safe places when writing, isn't it?
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have toyed with the idea of changing the name to Eileen to keep with canon. Opinion? |

Very well done! Sweet and what almost all mothers hope for with their children.
Author's Response: I'm so glad you found this. It was one of those things that begged to be written. |

Oh newborns. Snuggly, fuzzy-headed, ever-hungry little buggers. sigh :)
Author's Response: I miss that age, but not enough to do it again. |

I'm so glad you decided to post this here! I love this story. It brings back all the wonderful sweetness of having an infant. :~)
Author's Response: I was worried that it would be lost forever if I didn't. Lisig from Austria suggested that I share it at SH. I'm glad I did. |

Sigh ... yes, it is wonderful indeed to know he had a loving mother. Too bad his father was not the same. I hope Rowling tells us more about his parents. Thanks for sharing this!
Author's Response: Every child deserves to be loved. Welcome to my little set of fics. I hope to hear more from you. |
