| I never thought I would say that: poor Severus! I don't care if Clodia is in love or if Marcellus is just her stud. I don't care; I hate her! What she is doing is despicable. The way she lies to Snape is disgusting and he is blind to her lies (but I have a suspicion that deep down he knows she is cheating on him). Well, I'm off to read next chapter, and I hope Snape will use an Avada on them. Author's Response: I think you're right that he knows she is cheating on him. I also think he doesn't have that many options, really, and he'd rather pretend not to know than to acknowledge what he really does. THanks for your comments. | |||

| Good story, well written. For a minute there Clodia seemed to be a little too good to be true and then you added the part where they bicker if they send too much time together that is certainly true of most couples. The romance scenes were very good but I'm going to plead with you and any other author that may happen to read this to please stop using the phrase ' Their tongues duelled for supremacy ( or dominance )' Extreme over use of this description in fanfic causes me to shudder. I sincerly hope that hasn't offended you. As to Severus not knowing, Clodia is a fool. I really hate the selfish bitch ;) Severus is probably in his lab right now working on the right poision. Guess those poor students will have to struggle thru getting used to a new DADA teacher. At least thats my happy ending fantasy. Your talent for writing angst exceeds mine to accept it. I think I have Verity Brown Angst Fatigue ;) looking forward to more of your excellent work. Author's Response: I guess I don't read enough because I've never seen tongues duelling in fanfic. But then, I write very little smut and read even less of it. I'm sure my inexperience with it shows. I'm glad you think Severus is going to poison her. Just keep thinking that ;) | |||

| I wonder what it is that clodia *does* want since neither Sev nor wazzizname (the creep!) has it. Albus! Time to order another DADA teacher. Author's Response: Very interesting. You're the first person to speculate about what Clodia wants rather than writing her off as a bitch. I tend to think that she does want Severus, but he's so wrapped up in giving her what he thinks she wants that he rather ignores her. If I were going to write more, I'd probably take her the route of a lusty witch with a joie de vive that doesn't take well to being cooped up in a house, however big and well-furnished. | Well-written story as always, with excellent characterizations. Ooh, I just want to slap that Clodia and send her packing! And take that Marcellus with her - grrr....
