Extremely intriguing! Once again you offer a perspective of Snape that is hardly seen. I think you have a great talent and cannot wait to finish reading the rest of your wonderful work! I would recommend your stories to anyone!

Author's Response: You're very kind to me, Mary Ella, and I am deeply touched by your comment. I do make an effort to present things from a different angle, as much as possible, and I am glad you appreciated this one! Take care!

Wonderful! Simply wonderful, you master quite well the ongoings of mental anguish and usual struggles we psychiatrists have to face everyday. I wish I'd be able to do some Legilimency on my patients! It would be much, much easier. Anyway, my compliments on your original and perfectly written story, and I am only curious as to know whom did he marry! Congratulations!

Author's Response: Hello Julie! Thanks for your enthusiasm and kind words! I am a psychologist, actually, and I specialize in anxiety disorders. The issues and therapeutic techniques mentioned in this essay are therefore a part of my daily routine, too (Legilimency excluded, unfortunately!). I agree with you; doing exposure with Legilimency might be a very interesting experience for our patients... and ourselves! As for whom he married... well, it was a last minute inspiration, to give a touch of hope, a light at the end of the tunnel, so you can imagine whoever you want! :o) Thanks again and take care!

This point of veiw has always been one of my favorites in stories. I love the way that the therepist went inside his thoughts. Severus' memories were very real and an extremely touching experience. After walking out of the house, when his father cried,I trembled; that would have to be my favorite part. Overall, brilliantly done.

Author's Response: Hello! Your comments really touched me, as to me, this is the explanation that flashes in my mind when I think of Severus' childhood and the reason why he became a Death Eater. I am really glad that you were touched, too; it was a hard essay to write and read. Thank you again and take care! :o)

Wonderful fic! At the end, I was almost expecting him to buy a rose for the healer, but she seems to be happy enough just seeing him with a wedding ring and baby rattle. Come to think of it, I will be happy at the end of Book 7 if Severus is healthy and happily married!

Author's Response: Hello June W! Thanks for your nice comments; those are the first I get with this fic! The "second ending", years later, was a last minute inspiration; an attempt to give the novel a last twist with a light at the end of the tunnel! :o) I am glad you liked it!
