| This is so frighteningly *possible* (well, apart from the slash element)--I really hope it doesn't turn out like this in the books! You've managed quite an amazing thing with this. Yes - I found it a little disturbing too, how easy it was to come up with ways to interpret the deaths of James and Sirius, and the likely future death of Peter, in terms of an apt revenge for what they did to Severus in that Pensieve memory that Harry saw. I also hope that it doesn't turn out this way in the books. But you're right that we probably won't see Severus seducing Remus in canon. Pity...I've become rather fond of that pairing. :D | |||

| Wow! That was awesome. First person is hard to write and you pulled it off marvelously. While I don't hold that Snape is a Death Eater, you really made me believe it. The plan you have concocted is definitely a Snape plan. As you said, it's vengeance. Author's Response: Thank you so much for your kind comments! Don't worry; I don't think Snape is a Death Eater either. I'm utterly convinced of his redeeming qualities, so it was actually really hard for me to write him as being sociopathic and evil. However, that made writing this story an extremely interesting process, and I'm glad I made the attempt. | |||

| Dear mouse, I didn't know you were quite so cruel - but it is a very, very clever story indeed! The way you work with canon here is absolutely masterful, and though I would be sorry to see this come true, it does make perfect sense. You give us the conversation Remus promised in OotP but of which we never hear again, and the tantalising missing moments of the day Sirius died. Your Snape is, as usual, excellent: cool, nasty, clever, scheming and sarcastic. Oh, this story is terribly dark - but a treat nevertheless. Author's Response: Thank you so much, Sigune! I was aiming for a very dark tale with a very chilling Snape in it, so I'm glad to hear that it worked on that level. And I still say that your story is better than mine - the elegance of your writing actually made me feel embarrassed about the lack of that quality in mine. Hey everybody! Go read Sigune's story! | Wow, what a terrific story! This is the Severus I like the most, sort of a guilty pleasure. Excellent job on the requirements as well as character insight. 10 out of 10 for sure. Author's Response: Thank you so much! I actually didn't fulfil the story requirements very well, but the story was pretty much writing itself at that point, so I left it as it was.
