Awesome story. It's quite funny how naive Brenda is, especially for a 34 year old witch, you'd think she'd at least know what snogging was. I was wondering if this story is complete or not. It doesn't say The End but not all stories do that. And I don't know if it says whether the story is complete or not anywhere else. Just wondering if I should check now and again for more chapters. I'd certainly like to think that this isn't the end of the story.

This was marvelously written. I really enjoyed it. The ending was not a suprise, of course since I looked for ss/oc romance, but the way you wrote it ended the story quite nicely. Brava.

Oh, that was so very, very cute! Loved the ending. I really liked how Severus kept trying to justify spying on Brenda, and how he finally just decided to give it up and call it what it was. That was really funny. Great job!

I did feel like shaking her at the start, but thought she might come around. Although what would have happened if Lupin had decided on a dalliance, I don't know... Thanks, Jen! A wonderful little story. Author's Response: There was a song forever or so ago by Vanessa Williams-- Save the Best For Last. It has a line in it 'All of those nights you came to me when some silly girl had set you free. You wondered how you'd make it through. I wondered what was wrong with you. How could you give your love to someone else and share your dreasm with me?' I keep looking for the perfect place to write something based off those lines, and they sort of edged into this one. Jen

Aw, that's a cute story. Really cute. And I usually don't go for cute. I liekd the fact it's written in diary form. It made it more personal, you know? Plus, the theme was nice. I really liked it.
