My god you're good. I have never been so INTO a story before... Your ideas and characters are just so well thought out, everything fits... WOW!! It's nuts... call me a suck, but i almost burst out crying during his proposal, you just planned everything so well, it's totally him! I'm just so very happy to see that somone's finally got Severus' character on line here, you really know what you're doing. For the love of god, keep writting. You've got a big fan here, I'm loving every sentence!! ;)
Author's Response: :-D Thank you! The truth is, I'm afraid, that I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing - I just sort of muddle through the story and hope something vaguely resembling a story comes out at the end! I won't call you a suck! It's nice to know that you enjoyed the chapter; it's a compliment. I will keep writing. I'm hoping that there will be an update by the end of next week or the beginning of the week after that - my exams finish next week. (Can't end soon enough...) Thank you very much for the review, Heather! |

Author's Response: Hey, HerEviLMajesty! Thanks for the compliments, and, yes, Maximus' reaction should be interesting. I hope I don't disappoint! ;) Thanks, again! |

Oh, poor Severus. He's not much of a social person and this is a real nightmare scenario for him. I look forward to seeing how the rest of the dinenr goes. Glad to see you found time to post a bit more. It's been a busy season for many of us. I had to do some re-reading to get this Severus back in my mind, but that's okay, re-reading is good. :)
Author's Response: I think I shall deem "this Severus" the "MEM!Snape"! ;-D I think I'm going to disappoint, as we sort of go a couple of days into the future in the next chapter. Maximus is back, though, which could be interesting! It's been a very busy time recently - it's been noticeable as the number of updates have been few and far between. Thanks for reviewing, phoenix! |

I am getting so behind! This was a great chapter and you did so well showing the interactions with every body. I really hope Lupin is able to get a job soon. I really like Alina with him. I suppose talking to the families is next. I believe there old Maxie is going to have a cow. Well, it does save money on milk. :-) ~Lisa
Author's Response: Lol, don't worry, Lisa, I think I'm permanently stuck five weeks behind! Glad the interactions worked well - I spent quite a long time trying to include everyone in the conversation, etc. Oh, Lupin, bless him...no, I think he's stuck without a job, unfortunately! (I'm a lazy author - some appalling injustices will just have to stay!) Dear Maxie, families, and dairy herds do indeed come next. ;-D |

So pleased to see an update Obadiah! The bits about Rochester made me splurt my tea...have you read or heard of "The Eyre Affair" by Jasper Fforde? (It is modern, but you might like it). Hope exams went well, and that we will see you and Rosie more often in future.
Author's Response: "The Eyre Affair"? No, I've never come across it, but it does sound interesting. I have read part of an essay entitled: "Can Jane Eyre ever be happy?" - I had always wondered it myself! Still more exams to come, I'm afraid...nearly there now! Thanks for reviewing! |

I glad to see he proposed again, properly this time. He even did his best to make it romantic, he does have a better side. The ring sounds gorgeous.
Author's Response: He did his best, and I think that's what Rosie was looking for. Thanks for the review! |

Yes! Brilliant! (I've been saying that word a lot today...) I love it! The relationship, the coyness, the wide grins that I'm sure are going around the table... well done!
-Mel
Author's Response: Cheers, Mel! :-D Glad you've enjoyed it! |
