| How marvelous. Full of wit, ingenuity, and I must say In Characterness, because by god, this is exactly how they'd all act in such a situation (or set of situations, indeed). You've taken these hapless professors and expertly transferred them to what can only be described as their own personal hell. And to take all of the things we think of as natural, and make us see them through the horrified eyes of such distinct personalities as McGonagall, Snape, Trelawney, and Lockhart, was devilishly inspired. What attention to detail! (The interspersed comments to Lockhart when Snape is writing one of his letters was among many of the gems). And the "children," of course, behaved just as they should.
I enjoyed this very much!!

| Ok, now that I've stopped laughing long enough to see and breath...THANKS! I haven't laughed this hard in quite a while.
Personally, I don't think HBP changes anything about your view of Snape in this story; at least to me it appears that he is doing what Dumbledore has asked him to do, no matter how painful or distasteful, here and in HBP. | I am so glad someone recced this fic. I really couldn't stop laughing - Severus at his snarky ridiculous best. I wish someone would do a drawing of him in that Speedo - what a vision!! | Erm...I'm sorry for taking so long to review this second chapter! My excuse is that I read it just before the baby was born, then things got hectic! I think I told you that this is one of my favourite 'humour' stories and I keep a printed copy to reread when I need cheering up. | Thank you so much for this piece of absurdity. It is funny to the highest degree and I laughed so hard my husband had to come down to see if I was alright (two stories down). (He also says it is very silly and thanks for the laugh.) Oh, well done and brilliant. I nearly choked on my laughter when it came ot the green speedo. Wonderfully understated letter, that!
The only thing I wonder at is that the four of them didn't murder Albus as soon as they got back. I imagine they're plotting the best, most painful course of action, eh? Again, this was brilliant. I...can't breathe...Too much funny...Gah. x.x Author's Response: ::::mouse panics, scurries around, flags down a passing dementor to perform the kiss of life on insipid_paragon, has to bite dementor on the toe to keep it from performing a different kind of kiss on insipid_paragon, chases dementor away with AWESOME MOUSE PATRONUS (*heroic music plays*); mouse eyes insipid_paragon for a moment, and then bites insipid_paragon on the toe. Insipid_paragon revives, and wonders why there's a mouse quivering in worry on his/her toe:::: *grin* I'm glad you liked the story. Thanks for the review! I hope you've recovered now. | |||
