Reviews for Shadow on My Heart

It was good to learn about the past they shared. He father, in particular, was concerned more about his prejudice and bigotry than he was about her. I enjoyed the little bit of romance, even if it was interrupted and didn't lead to lemons. I knew part of it was familiar, and then I remembered why.

Ha! I like your parting shot to us! Yes that was the beginning of a very steamy scene..too bad it was pre-empted!

Author's Response: I just love torturing Snape like that!

“You’re sniffing me again.” for some reason that really made me laugh. A fine thing in an otherwise very sad chapter. Sounds like things will be looking up though.

Hooray for Nottingham! Maybe he was being a Hippogriff's arse, but Callista still should have known better.

Oh dear--Callista was not very bright, letting Harry spend the night. I love her "Sheriff of Nottingham" line, though! And how could a jerk like Sirius ever hope to compete with Severus for a thoughtful, intelligent woman's attentions? Although Severus has definitely been "a hippogriff's arse." :~) I'm glad Dumbledore decided to force a resolution.

Wonderful! I loved the bit about Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham! Brings visions of Alen Rickman playing that part (hummmm...they both had black hair didn't they...) The tension sure is getting high here.

Author's Response: Men in tights, especially *that man* in tights.

I hope Callista realized that wasn't such a bright move on her part even if it was innocent. I guess there aren't too many ways to make Severus do something besides locking him in a room, since Dumbledore refuses to use Unforgivables ;)

Author's Response: Sometimes the most brilliant minds have no common sense. There will be a logical explaination for this.

Sirius is such an arse. He could never compete with Severus for any intelligent woman's affections. But letting Harry stay in her room was a really *bad* move on Callista's part. Not very bright thinking in that instance. "And where would he be without the Sheriff of Nottingham?" I love Alan Rickman references. That one was a doozy. And now, perhaps, they will actually manage to talk things through and we'll have some of these mysteries that you've been hinting at all along solved.

Author's Response: That just goes to show that even intelligent people are capable of doing equally stupid things. Robin Hood: Prince of Theives is still one of my favorite AR films. Some people think what he did was scene stealing; I think it was more like scene grand larceny! As for Sirius I think it's some thing like 'you snooze, you loose.' If he only knew why she turned him down...
