aw bless little johnny - pleased to see he's got the chocoholic streak! brilliant chapter. x
Author's Response: MAhaut's chocoholic genes do seem to be rather dominant don't they? almost as dominant as Severus grumpy genes! but it was fun writing all thier silly fafmily traits, thanks for reviwing! |

Excellent chapter; I laughed out loud.
Author's Response: well, l decided that a little bit of light relief was in order, since the next chapters are all a bit angsty. glad someone other than me thought it was funny! thanks for reviewing! |

Oh lord, I love it! This is a Quidditch game to end all quidditch games!
Author's Response: pleased to hear that it meets with your approval, as i nearly scrapped this chapter completly in favour of saying 'the boys won the match and it made lunch a little awkward' as i'm not to confident with the whole quidditch thing! but i figured if the snaplets played quidditch that they would all definatly cheat! so hello, and thanks for reviewing! |

a little mantra of patience - heh-heh! Poor Severus, family mayhem. And poor Tobias - so eager for the game, and then his team gets mad at him. Ahem.... I'm still waiting to see if Etienne redeems himself. Severus and souffle? I always pictured him as tearing into a hunk of beef or veal. Unless it's chocolate souffle, of course.... Thanks for the low-angst chapter!
Author's Response: souffle's just the starter; severus' favourite is the main course, and i'm not saying what that might be or it will spoil the start of the next chapter. and you will have to wait and see if Ettienne redeems himself, coz i'm saying nowt! as for low angst, well, a little sunshine before the storm? thanks for reviewing! |

I was scared that Johnny wouldn't have magic, it just didn't seem right for him not to. Nice redeeming Etienne and I love Mahaut's plan, I just love Mahaut as a character! I was waiting for an update and you have yet to disappoint!
Author's Response: hello! nice that you were concerned about little johnny. l'm not sure that sofia will be quite so pleased though, he's already a little sod with baby magic! l originaaly had no intention of redeeming etienne when l wrote the synopsis, but the obnoxious git started to grow on me as i wrote him. l'm glad you like mahaut, she needs all the sympathy she can get after having been married to a grumpy git for so long! next chapter coming soon, but l want to have a little fiddle withtthe one after, so that probably won't til after hbp, coz i'll be taking a week off to read that twice, but i'm 1/2 way through the final chapter at the moment, there are 15 in total, so it won't be long til its all up, it depends on my dear sweet patient betas really! thanks for reviewing1 |

Well I will conceed defeat, Etienne is not that bad after all. Loved this chapter, very soothing and homely. A good reinforcement of the characters nicest aspects. Hope to read more soon!! xx
Author's Response: haha! see, i will convert you to the appreciation of evil gits yet, you've just got to get to know em to appreciate their finer points! i'll post another chapter today or tommorow, depends how knackered i am after dinner, it's been a long day! thanks for reviewing! |

I like Sophia and if Etienne ends up with her I might just be able to like him too! Another excellent chapter!
Author's Response: l like sofia too. l would love to have let mahaut get to know her a bit better; l think sofia could do with a few git handling tips! and let's face it, mahaut is a world class expert in her chosen field! thanks for reveiwing! |

Oh so well done (as usual!) The comparison of Etienne live to the a hollow house and then adding the one room that has life was well done. I really enjoyed this short but significant visit with the "littlest Snape".
Author's Response: aha! another lover of the convoluted metaphor hmm? more info on little jonny in the epilogue, but you don't get that for another few chapters, thanks for reveiwing! |

Drat! Etienne's siblings didn't get to meet their nephew - and Drusilla especially might want to know about this potential dark wizard who will be her student someday. Umm, Mahaut will live long enough to share this vision with Drusilla, the keeper of the family secrets? Does Drusilla see visions too? Next chapter, please! And I suppose I can let Etienne live if he improves....
Author's Response: ooh, l'm so gald that i wasn't a gladiator in the days of ancient rome with you as emporor, you're just sooo magnanimous, aren't you? poor etienne! not saying what Mahaut will have time to do, wait and see, my pretty! Drusilla does have the odd vision though, aminly after she's had one to many bellinis! (don't we all?) as for family secrets, well... all will be revealed later on. thanks for reveiwing! |
