Little Piggy Severus is just adorable!! Even though I see the point that he is not really very good for lemons, I love him. *gives piggy Severus a good rub* ;-))
Author's Response: I'm sure l have a recipe somewhere for pork with lemons! hmmm! (contemplates what she can threaten the potions master with next) glad you like to rub piggy severus, but it's kind of an ambigous image to me, you see aristophanes uses "piglet" as a euphemism for female sexual organs so, err... better go now, thanks for reviewing! |

Good! Very good! What a choice to make.....Severus did well too I thought. I thought your discription of him as a boar was really rather funny!
Author's Response: the description of Severus as a boar was really what inspired the whole story, so i'm glad you enjoyed it. and yes it was a hard choice tomake, but then, easy choices don't make interesting stories. thanks for reviewing! |

I don't mind you turning him into a piggy as long as you turn him back. Piggy-Severus does not make for good lemons.... BTW, I re-read Ch7 of Bella for Mahaut's third vision, to see what your next story will be like - I saw you, dying, in my arms. - ack! too sad! They better have lots of kids and grandkids and sex and greatgrandkids and sex, with tons of happy stuff, before THAT happens. They've both had way too much angst - those years with Bella, etc. - it wouldn't be nice if you just offed them. Pleeeeeeeease???
Author's Response: no, l think poor Mahaut has already figured out that piggy severus does not make for good lemons! but l thought she was very brave to kiss him anyway, then again l'd rather kiss a pig than a frog! he's already human again though, coz Mahaut fed him the moly, so fret not, dear reader! figured out what the third visions is then? don't worry, the next story is set about 100 years ahead of this one, and yes there are children and grandchildred, a lot of the story is told from their point of view(l had particular fun with thier youngest daughter mathilde, esp when she was licking melted chocolate of a nak... sorry giving away too much info there!) l can't promise that it will all be happy, but it mostly will, and it will be agood death for them, l promise, and it won't be till right at the end of the story, l'm not just going to start the story by having their kids flush them down the toilet! and theres a short story to come in between, too! thanks for reviewing! |

I've just read both parts of this story (haven't done much else this weekend...) and I love your writing style! Thr references to greek mythology echo JK Rowling's style, and during the dream I kept trying to figure out who Medea was. Please update very very very soon!
Author's Response: so glad l could facilitate your timewasting activities! so did you figure out who medea was in the end? or not until l told you, coz l treid to make it so it was not tto obvious, but still figure outable. updateing hopefully for the weekend. thanks for reviewing! |

I spend my evening reading both of your stories yesterday (stayed up quite late) and I have to tell you, I think the world you've created from canon is brilliant. I love Mahaut, I love the way you write Severus, I love the mythological history woven through your story.
Looking forward to more pleasant evenings!
Author's Response: l'm flattered, thankyou.bella was mt 1st ever fanfic so it's really reassuring that people have liked it so much. l hadn't written anything for years, and just after l started posting bella l found some stuff l'd had publisehd when l was 20, and l thought "ohm my god this is shite! what am l playing at!" l think l muct have grown up a bit since then, thankfully! l love Mahaut too, l just wish l was that together, and well, who doesn't love the potions master? thanks for reviewing ! ch10 coming soon |

Can't believe it's nearly the end - Severus sounded quite cute as a piggy (or wild boar, whatever...) but I'll be pleased when he's back to his usual form. Can't wait for the next chapter...
Author's Response: he's already in his proper form, the moly has taken care of that, worry not! although he's probably a bit stinky by now. l'll try to get ch10 uploaded for next weekend, although why you'd want to read it is betond me- it's mostly snogging and makeup sex. thanks for reviewing |

Nice dialogue between Snape and Medea... But why can she not awake on the island? Is it because of the effects it has on magic of all in Mdeas line and Mahauts magic is now virtually non-existent? By the way, I realy enjoyed the description of piggie Snape and his pig urges surfacing at the wrong moment... :) However I don't think Mahaut will deal easily with being a squib... Or will she? Will she REALLY end up being a squib? (Oh, how I dislike when someone else holds the power to decide...!) Put me out of my misery and update soon... ;)
Author's Response: l think medea wants mahaut of the island before she awakens so that she will not spend the rest of her life there like medea herself did. mahaut tsill has power while she is on Aeaea, just like medea did. medea is not always nice, but what she does she does from good intentions, and l think she has realised by now that she deprived herself of a great deal by cutitng herself off from the world. as for the squib thing, you'll have to read the third vision for the full story, which is the third part of the trilogy, coming to a computer monitor near you in the near future! glad you enjoyed that dialogue, coz l had such fun writing this chapter, and the uemenides in the last chapter, they were fun too. thanks for reviewing! |

“he’s my pig, and I love him.” LOL! Severus the pig was amusing! But that was a horrible decision for poor Mahaut. I'm just glad they'll be able to leave the island together. Can't believe this is the penultimate chapter already! Please tell me there's another sequel...
Author's Response: the description of severus as a pig was the first thing l wrote, it lurked at the back of my notebook for three weeks until i could put it into context, it was irresistable, that one. poor kathy though, she's been holding my cyber hand coz i was convinced i'd get hate mail for this. yes, there is another sequel, what began as a short story grew into a longer fic and now it's a trilogy! it's Mahaut's fault she keeps sneaking into my head and whispering wicked things to me. after i've posted this there will be a short one shot entitled" a picture of her" which was written due to yet another bout of insomnia. and the third part is called "the third vision", and it's set in the future, a lot of it is told from the point of view of their children. kathy just called me a big yellow chicken bird for veering away from part of my original plot though, so i've gone back to it, she was right, shes always right, bloody annoying when that happens-i hate admitting when i'm wrong! ch 7 of bella will pretty much tell you what the third visions about though. thanks for reviewing! |

Right, so piggy is supposed to carry a fullgrown woman and get her off the island without waking her .... no wand, no broom, no Portkey ... what a grandmother! And it was Medea who chose to turn Severus into a piggy in the first place - she claims to have little power, and she wastes it by turning him into a pig. So there's no power left for a request from any other descendants? Sheesh... I appreciate the way you took a fairly grim segment and lightened it quite a bit - e.g., the worry about poor piggy-Severus balanced with quips about little noises of piggy happiness, bacon (!!!) and A sight more useful than Jason - very flattering comparison, being better than a child-killer. Okay, so now he has to get her off the island. This will be interesting. Thanks for the new chapter!
Author's Response: See, Hecate said it, Medea's snaeky and she's had millenia to subvert the magic of Aeaea to her own ends. l've always liked medea, and thought she was unfairly treated in greek myth, which was why l changed the story so that jason killed the boys, instead of her, l've always thought that was a prime reflection of ancient greek mysogeny and xenophobia combined. but l still think that by her nature she is sneaky and unreliable, partly because that what the world has made her become, partky l think by nature. severus still has his wand, it's just not much use on Aeaea. to be honest it was partly the vision of severus snape transfigured into a pig that promted me to write this stroy, l just couldn't resist, but l was convinced that lwas going to get hate mail for turning everyone's favourite potions master into a porker! thanks for reviwing! |
