| Really enjoyed Mahaut's dream - feeling slightly more educated now... I'm not so good with constructive criticism, but couldn't find anything to criticise anyway!! | Wonderful chapter! I loved the way you handled the dream sequence. I just hope Snape will come to his senses and go and find her! Author's Response: there is something to be said for the "typical" male though. yes, they are thick(even the smart ones) annoying and completely full of shit, but aren't they adorable? Euripedes wrote medea as a man in a woman's body, but l don't want to write severus snape as a woman in a man's body. sorry, l'm a bit obsessed with euripedes of late. thanks for reviewing! | |||

| WOW that was great, I really liked the dream sequence, it added loads to Mahaut's character and it was so...illustrative, very easy to read yet still full of detail. Plus I'm not too chuffed with Snape, in fact I'm quite huffed, he should bloody well grow up that's what I say! Trust a man to get the wrong end of the stick, I mean really, it must be a disease or something! I'm very curious about this ritual, what will happen, who knows? Well you do of course, but I don't and I wish I did! Maybe she could get Minerva to help her instead, you know keep it with the women.
Anyway, nice to see it's not all sweetness and light in the Snape universe.
P.S. Sorry about the abrupt phone call, you know what it's like with step parents and all. It's all, 'It's my computer I want to be on NOW!'. Apparently respect went out the window when he married my mother, anyway, keep me posted, can't wait for more. Author's Response: gald you thought that my little experiment with stream of conciousness was sucessful, l'm a huge fan of margaret atwood and she uses it a lot, so it was a fun thing to write.Mahaut is pretty pissed off with severus too, but he's only a bloke, they're a bit thick with stuff like that, in general, maybe it is a disease. ps. my step dad is a sweety pie, even when i threw tomatoes at him (long story) he was nice about it, it's my dad's girlfrind i hate, but then so does everyone else so it's not just me. thanks for reviewing! | |||

| I sure hope she doesn't end ALL their fights by giving in to him. He should've at least listened to her. What an idiot Severus is, to behave this way after all she has been through and all they have been through together. What a downer, after he got to hear the baby's laughter - his anger isn't helping the baby at all. Ooh, just slap the man! Now he has to find her - and he better start looking! Author's Response: Mahaut is smart, she knows how to handle Severus, she just lets him think that she gives in, that way he's happy and she gets what she wants by subterfuge. He's a bloke, after all. Funny you should say he's an idiot, coz kathy beta'd this chapter and sent it back saying she really hated him now!
