I believe that our dear headmasters family tree has yet another branch-but what is the meaning when Tsar shows up?that you didn't say!good work again!
Author's Response: (Ten points to your house!)
The reason behind Tsar doesn't show up until the last chapter and is explained in depth in the thirteenth chapter of the sequel.
It seems like it's just dangling there for no reason, but don't worry, there's a reason.

Interesting, the way you have woven the myths in here. At first I thought she had seen Snape on the horse, but then you've got me fantasizing about Snape on horseback since they went to see the Gypsies,
My guess is that Altair has some familial connection to Dumbledore.
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it and don't worry... lots of Snape and Zeus on the way!

Agatha would be thouroughly upset with some of the things I eat for breakfast, pizza, left over pork and sauerkraut, and if i have sweets they will always be my breakfast. Now you've told us a little more about the potion and moved the plot along a bit, I'm looking forward to meeting her sister and brother-in-law.
Author's Response: Well, my dad eats fish and I have whatever I can find. *snort* lol. Believe it or not, I couldn't work them in until Chapter Eighteen, but there's lots of fun stuff along the way!
Thanks!

Yes, I like the picture in my mind of Snape on a horse too. I don't know much about gypsies either. the only one I ever came across were when I lived in Yorkshire and they came round in the summer selling pegs [clothes pins] door to door, and then years later when I went back on a visit an Irish gypsy came up to me on the street, took my hands and then read my palm and gave me a small charm. As expected, I gave her 2 pound coins. She was very fair with light red hair, our coloring was very similar except she was cover with freckles and I had none. The first gypsies were brunette and dark skinned with northern, almost Geordi, accents.
Author's Response: See, that's what I found so I based it on that. Dark skinned, dark haired, and their language, Romany, spread to Greece, so I'm assuming that they were there too. I wouldn't mind meeting a gypsy.
Everyone seems to like the picture of Snape on a horse... I can see why. *snigger*

I like the conversation between Snape and Rawnie ;)
Author's Response: *snigger* It was heaven! As do I, but chapter 12 is one of my personal favorites. I shall introduces what still remains to be one of my favorite original characters! Thanks!

Well... Poor girl... I guess we all carry our deamons - some just handle it better than others... Seems that Snape is about to discover a soul mate ;) Can't wait for the next chapter!
Author's Response: Demons indeed. Thanks for staying with me!

In the previous chapter she tells Snape that Altair is 'part Greek and part British, like me. In this chapter Altair tells Snape that while Kestrel's mother is Greek her father was Spanish. I'm confused on that part. I can't remember whether her parents were magical or not, but if they were tortured and killed because they wouldn't join the deatheaters, then they must have been magical. Update soon and help clear up my confusion.
Author's Response: Whoops! Thanks for correcting me on that, I meant that he was part-Greek and part-Spanish! And yes, they were magical. Next chapter to come soon!
