Nothing could have more angst than the end of HBP, but I am among the contingent who believes Snape will be exonerated and be a hero in Book 7. If not, then I will wipe my hands of JKR and her Potter world and stick with the Fan Fiction AU version of Snape.
You are right I never though aboput the antidote, although I knew the potion would have to be tested to see if it worked. In 'Untouchable' will she be back in the past? That makes more sense to me that in the future. My guess is somewhere back in Ancient Greece. If she didn't have the antidote with her my guess is that Snape will figure out how to brew it, brew it, and then take a dose of the time travel potion himself to go find her, taking along enough antidote for them both, and give her the antidote so she can come back with him.
Now question of my own, does Achlys have any connect to a minor Greek Goddess called Achelois? The names are similar, but Achlys is a demon and Achelois is a goddess.
I will remain a faithful reader of Snape Romance fan fic as long as it's not the yucky SS/HG type. I prefer SS/OFC, but I enjoy some canon Snape romances as long as the woman is an adult from present canon. The canon stories are limited in scope because there is a limited number of adult females in canon, the OFC stories are unlimited because she is the author's own creation.
Author's Response: *read humongous review with something like glee upped with sugar* I'm afraid that I am not... well... the people in the forums are convincing me. Mum (who's also a Harry Potter lover) says that it's 50/50, so I'll just start sticking with that. I can't answer those quesitons here (obviously) but they shall be answered in "Untouchable". (Which, consequentially, is going to be submitted now.)

Nice little ceremony to end this part with, I particularly liked Snape's choice of witnesses.
Author's Response: I know, weren't they wonderful? *grin* Thanks. I change the ceremony about three times, actually. Glad to see you liked my result!

wow! and where will this potion take us back to?or foward? and why were the demons there in the first place? and can I have snape and a rumpled bed?great image there,by the way!
Author's Response: I know. I can't wait to post my finished sequel (I'm still gloating about the fact that I finished it before HBP came out). The demons are there for a reason that shall become clear in the sequel. Snape and rumpled bed -- gladly! Kestrel's body? Gonna have ta wait! Thanks!

Everybody is trying to get their updates posted beforeSaturday, I've read too many stories and done too may reviews to keep them all straight. I do remember that the potion was finally sucessfully brewd. One thing I can no longer remember, is your story set pre war or post war?
Author's Response: Tell me about it. My head is spinning. But I am lucky for mine is post war, I have the second part finished (which is, quite probably, the darkest of the three), and the third part is more "The Conference"-like. I'm working hard to get most of it finished before I read the book (which I'm reading on Sunday).

wow-If he made all those hints to me and then refused-well-i'd be heartbroken then double my resolve that he would be mine-and kes kinda sounds like that.i hope that dear sevvie used the sunscreen too,no one likes a toasted snape! how much ,if any, of the coversation did her friend hear? and did she notice the tension between them-i'd be ragging my friend mercilessly over something like that.good chappie-vey thought provoking.
Author's Response: Mmm...*giggles evilly like Evil Kitty from Emperor's New Groove* I saw that movie this weekend. Getting in touch with my inner child. *smirk* He he he. And yes, he used sunscreen...red Snape! yikes! All of it and yes she did. But our Ionia is not like that. ...I do that too...rag, nag, rag, nag, etc. Thank you so much!

The underwater picture you painted was lovely. I'm glad the girls used sunscreen, I'm very fair with what was once red gold hair and I have to use 45-50 SPF. I do better just staying out of the sun. That was one of the benefits when I lived in Yorkshire, never enough sun to worry about sun damage. I hadn't thought about that song in years, I just rememberd who sang it, Nat King Cole. I see Kestrel also knows the Joy Song from Ren & Stimpy. Is she 16 or 17? That would make him 45 or 46, he's right' he's way to old and sophistacated for a child her age. It would be almost as bad as Anna Nicole Smith and her Sugar Daddy husband.
Author's Response: I know the necessity for sunscreen. I am extremely fair with dark brown -- almost black -- hair, and I just DON'T tan. I use something in that range too. I live in the tropics so you understand my dilemma. Yes! Nat King Cole! Five points to your house! (I feel so silly) She is seventeen and I should hope that you don't mind that. He's... 46, if I've done my math right. *crosses fingers* Thanks Trickie!
