| I think I read this at the wrong part of the day, eight in the morning with my toast is not hugely conductive to seduction, although Mahaut liked it I suppose.
I love your imagery of Mahaut's mind, espeically the butterflies in the blue sky, it just drips with elegance.

| I loved the prequel and I think you created one of the most interesting and unique OFCs for Severus existing in fanfic: you made their relationship so special and strong while never gliding down into clichee and MarySueism... I was really looking forward to seeing them together in the aftermath of Mahaut's ordeal and how it would affect their relationship.
This first chapter has all the qualities of the original story again and the erotic scenes are breathtakingly hot. Those "soul-melts" between Mahaut and Severus are breathtakingly beautyfully written. I adore your Snape-interpretation and hope you'll follow up with many more chapters! Author's Response: glad you liked the melty soul thing, to be honest i was really worried whe i started writing the erotic stuff that i was just being too wierd for words (it's a fairly common problem with me) and that people wouldn't get it, and i'd ever written lemons before so i was experimanting coz i didn't want to do exactly the same thing that others do so brilliantly. there are 10 chapters in this story, kathy has the last one as we speak, i'm actaully writing the 3rd and final part at the moment. thanks for reviewing ! | |||

| Wow - a brilliant start to the sequel. I especially liked the Monty Python references - at least Mahaut has good taste in humour! I think the bracelet more than makes up for the ring too.
